A just-released poll shows that Donald Trump’s campaign-trail immigration and labor policies have overwhelming public support, and strong opposition from just one-sixth of voters.

The Ipsos poll shows that only about one-in-six Americans strongly oppose Trump’s policies towards immigrant labor, repatriations, sanctuary cities, Islamic migrants, employer oversight and his ground-breaking proposal to reduce legal immigration.

Sorry, but I don't buy this. Private property owners along the border suffer huge amounts of damage from illegal crossers. And their very lives are sometimes threatened. I think they would offer to GIVE the necessary property away to get a real protection for their property and lives in place.

Sorry Amigo, but I live down here and I am afraid you are totally misinformed or are way out guessing your points.

Even(and still is funding for) when the fence was passed, approved and funded, Texas land owners along the border went wild?? Not only the landowners, the large Cities were up in arms as well. Saying they were going to loose their natural view of the river and their parks would be condemned. CONDEMNED....

Oh and lives threatened. How about DEAD. Landowner here went in to check water trough. They caught the MS13s with his truck out of San Antonio, not before they took his life via machete. Oh the "inter-boarder' (which is 100s of miles now) would love to see the wall/fence/moat. It is getting just as bad in this part too. Drugs, killings, robberies and more drugs.

Oh and you might not have heard. Mexico/its Citizens, own land all up and down the border on the American side. Go figure.

I’m from Louisiana and have kinfolk and friends all over Texas. Even have one guy who did “civilian border patrol” along the Texas border.

Yeah, I’m sure you can find some Texans who worry about “natural views”. Every state has its share of “green weenies”.

But I suspect that the vast majority of Texans would support whatever necessary to stop the invasion.

As to any Mexicans who own property in the US and on the border, they can access it legally via border crossings with checkpoints. Or perhaps swap with some Americans who own property in Mexico.

The BP was once called the CBP, Civilian Border Patrol.

I may know him if he kicked sugar sand down around Falfurrias. I set up the '04 Minuteman OP with help from 2-3 great guys (took us 4 months). Dang, 12 years ago. One solid month of chasing illegals night and day. Had 800 people down there on about 65,000 acres over the month. It was bat shitte crazy. We were shot at, attacked with knives. I found 23 dead bodies in 2 months (July and August). I was in the field so much during these months setting up lines. I just buzzard tracked until I found them, called CSO and gave them the GPS coordinates. Dehydration mostly. Couple rape trees.

Quit going in '14 when it became apparent that ObucketOshiite would/was going to throw us under the jail for what we were doing. So we shut our little group down (7). We ran bloodhounds and tracked smugglers for BP. We also did other "odd" jobs. All of this on our own dime. We have been talking about heading back down there after 1-21-2017.....

I’m not sure exactly where he was doing his Minuteman thing. I don’t think it ever came up in our conversations, other than that it was “on the border”. He is retired military.

Yeah, CBP and once upon a time Civil Defense.....Maybe we should bring those back as auxiliaries to the federal Border Patrol and Department of Homeland Security.

Well, if he was in "south Texas" and with the MM we were kicking the same dirt.

Yeah we were a lot of retired military. Lot of knowledge on tactics down there and bunch of big egos too...lol
