I tend to agree. Nobody is more establishment Republican than Mitt Romney. If he can be brought on board, it will help greatly in unifying the party.
And let’s be honest- the vast majority of us voted for Mitt Romney for President. We shouldn’t act like he’s the worst guy in the world just because he sees Trump differently than we do.

Romney might actually be a good choice for Secretary of State. In such a position, the policy differences with Trump are minimal, while Romney becomes yoked to Trump politically, further unifying the party and the country and draining a residual reservoir of NeverTrumpism. Most of all, under Trump’s guidance, Romney would likely prove to be an exceptionally potent trade negotiator.
