The good pollsters, including some I used to work with, tend not to be in the news. Scott Rasmussen used to be good and public, but he sold his company and they became politicized once he left.

What I’m hearing from this #NeverTrumper is that he wanted an opportunity to be a fly on the wall so he could usurp Trump’s administration, and the administration isn’t buying into it. They are draining the swamp, and the privileged establishment is weeping, wailing, and gnashing their teeth.
Castration never feels good, and they are being effectively castrated in terms of being able to control the new Administration.
This is amazing to watch. It’s a preview of something even bigger to come.
Clearly they did not offer him a job and he is pissed about it.
So Cohen was somehow “working with a friend” on Trump’s transition team to “discreetly “steer good people to an administration that understandably wanted nothing to do with the likes of me.” It’s unclear if this was an official capacity or unofficial.
Then he and the friend had an altercation and Cohen proceeds to paint the entire Trump transition team as irrational, mediocre, fathomless. Uh-huh.
Sounds like he tried to exert influence where it wasn’t wanted or appropriate, got smacked down for it and is now throwing his own hissy fit to CNN. Typical GOP establishment tool.
