As a law enforcement office in charge of a department with thousands of officer, if you think he can’t be charge for obstruction of justice, aiding and abetting criminal acts, conspiracy, insurrection, and a number of other things, you’re sadly mistaken.

Any citizen that aided these people could be prosecuted.

I think Donald will figure out a way to give them “a deal that they can’t refuse.” Just my hunch.

They conspire to subvert federal law and aid in the violation of federal law. Seems to me there is prosecutable stuff here.

One has to be legally responsible for being constructive to justice before failure to do that is obstruction of justice.

No deputization — no responsibility. Tenth Amendment.

If the President has constitutional authority wrt, then those chiefs and subordinates who willingly defy the law will need to be arrested and prosecuted themselves.

The actual Constitutional remedy won’t be carried out by Federal police and courts. It will be carried out by the US Armed Forces.

This will be Civil War II, make no mistake. We need to be sure we want that.

Think again:

Responsibilities of the Chief of Police

The Chief of Police (COP) directs, plans, and coordinates the enforcement of the penal divisions of the City Charter, the ordinances of the City, and the laws of the state and nation for the purpose of protecting persons and property and for the preservation of the peace of the community. The COP is responsible for testifying before the City Council, the state and national legislative bodies on law enforcement matters of importance to the City of Los Angeles, as well as proposing new or amending existing legislation which could have an impact on law enforcement. http://www.lapdonline.org/inside_the_lapd/content_basic_view/834

Read the post I just made to you.

It covers his duties.

He must enforce the laws of this NATION.

He has already been sworn in and that’s his mandate.

If he doesn’t follow his job description, he is therefore guilty of not enforcing National law.

Part of this is to pervert Federal subsidy mechanisms. What ought to go to the benefit of Americans and legal residents, is going to gate crashers. That will go on as long as there are winks and nods at the Federal level.

They will lose a lot of funding yes. But it should be more... a municipality that refuses should ALSO be hit for other costs.

Costs to ice of investigating and collecting the illegal aliens should be charged to the offending municipality too. All pressure should be brought against the offending municipality... make it really hard.

The Sears at the Corner of Roscoe and Van Nuy’s boulevard did the same thing. Ten years ago I stopped in there to see if they had something I needed for my camera. I was shocked to see what was going on.

It as about 5:30 and one of the female staff told me in no uncertain terms to stick around because there was heavy gang activity there every night.

Not having what I wanted, I left.

That is the area where American Gratify had been filmed, a slice of America. Our heritage is being ripped right out from under us.

“Let’s start by cutting off all Federal funding to sanctuary cities.”

Liberals have only themselves to blame.

-threatened to withhold highway money over 55mph
-threatened to do the same over 21 drinking
-threatened to do the same over seat belts (AFAIK, this continues to this day)

They set the precedent.

In a similar vein, Obama’s probably sorry about the stroke of a pen kinda cool comment.
