We came oh-so-close to electing a Leviathan type of sovereign executive that would soon make Thomas Hobbes blush.
Instead, we stepped back from the precipice. But unless Trump can support fundamental reforms through Article V, I fear the next four or eight years will be just a bump in the road on our 100 year trajectory to tyranny.
