And even if there WERE a preponderance of positive Trump stories, it would still be a lie.
They’d either be sucking up to Trump because they know/suspect he won’t lie down for the Bush treatment, or they’d be trying to fake a veneer of objectivity, fairness, and coming from the same worldview as the electorate.
When you start treating R’s and D’s even handedly the year BEFORE the election, THEN we’ll believe you’ve seen the light.
Perhaps coordinating stories with a political campaign was a bad idea.

Eliminate Classical Christian curricula from skools (done) and normalize vice (done) to destroy virtue formation in children so they literally are non-thinking “bots” (useful idiots) of the Leftists. People with no souls, no wisdom of the Ages. No ability to even have Common Sense since they were raised and programmed by an artificial environment of screens which destroy agency and the ability to “think” for self. Only unstructured real life interaction with other human beings gives autonomy-—something that hardly exists in todays screen-AI culture.
Erase ALL History with lies/distortions, which destroys ALL Natural Instincts and Logic and Reason in children (so they KNOW boys can be girls and sodomizing others can “make” a “union” and Killing Babies (own genetic offspring is GOOD). (Flipping Good and Evil is Satanism). Return us to the paganism of slavery (where vice is slavery/Aristotle). Pederasty, misogyny, slavery, homosexuality, polygamy, pedophilia, baby-killing will be normalized again (like it is today).
....and Voila-—the elites have their little boys for their Satanic sacrifices and the parents GLADLY offer their little children to the elites/Justin Beibers to shape and control-—to supply wealth, adulation to Lucifer and orgy buddies and completely destroy Christian worldview in children which will collapse culture.

On election night, the NYT posted on its web site an animated “probability of winning” gauge....a needle moved as the votes came in....the percentage of probability increasing by the minute.
It was next to impossible to stop looking at the gauge as it kept creeping up to a Donald win.
As the hour grew late, I dozed off....and when I awoke w/ a start, the gauge showed Donald winning.
Back to a peaceful sleep.
Yeah, a lot of people could see their “soul searching” on parade today with the extremely nasty attacks on Steve Bannon because he is a (gasp) conservative who supports immigration control.
They can all gaze at their navels until pigs fly...!!! Trump won!
Almost forgot....

It’s not just a question of them being in touch with the average guy. They need to completely reform the way they report. They need a basic course in journalistic ethics. And it might help to hire at least half their staff from the conservative wing.

Their business model is all wrong. Why should people pay to read propaganda that they can get for free elsewhere? In order to sell something, you need to produce value that people will consider worth paying for. The NYTimes doesn’t have a viable product that people will shell out for.
Wow. There is that lack of self-awareness I mentioned in another thread that has led these cultural "leaders" to an E-ticket ride in Fantasyland. These are, we recall, people who have chided Donald Trump for a lack of humility. The irony is breathtaking.
It is difficult to imagine these media maharajahs relating very closely to certain matters of importance to other Americans not reposing in the crystal palaces of Duh City. For example, the idea that a housewife in Yakima is angry at her dishes no longer coming out clean because some bureaucrat in government has banished phosphates in her detergent would draw a complete blank in the boardroom of the NYT. Only the help cares about that stuff. And the hypocrisy in gilded millionaires driving yachts and private jets to environmental conferences and then sternly lecturing the unwashed that their auto air conditioners are ruining the planet is as completely lost to them as the palpable resentment of that hypocrisy. They don't know why we're mad, and they're mad about it because it's our fault.
You'd think they might notice that the unwashed just elected a multi-billionaire under the premise that he is more a man of the people than they are, which in fact Trump is. If that isn't throwing up a few flags I'm not sure what it will take - mortar fireworks inside the boardroom, maybe, to get the attention of the survivors.
I will give them credit. The NY Times election website is top notch. It does an excellent job of showing you where the votes left to come in are likly to come from.
New York Times is irredeemable ... they are so out of touch with reality.. Stuck on stupid... And it took a fellow New Yorker to expose there is NO there, there.
The GOP-E been doing that for a decade. It will work no better for the NY Times
It looks like their soul searching and pledge to be more fair lasted almost one full day.
Wonder if they would’ve done this mea culpa if Hillary had won....oh yeah, NOPE!
