Its been a moment for soul-searching, and to some extent repentance, at the New York Times PURE BS. The media hasn't changed, I've noticed that they have doubled down, continued negative Trump stories, hardly a single positive story. Also, they continue to lie, misrepresent, focus on negative stories, etc. The "media' is no longer journalism, they are left wing activists - people must get that thru their heads.

We set the agenda for the country in that room.
Well, you thought you did, at any rate. What you actually set was your own demise. Buh bye!

As The Times begins a period of self-reflection, I hope its editors will think hard about the half of America the paper too seldom covers, wrote Spayd. They might consider self-flagellation instead..........

Weve got to do a much better job of being on the road, out in the country, talking to different kinds of people than we talk to especially if you happen to be a New York-based news organization and remind ourselves that New York is not the real world, Baquet said. Well OK, but if they only used that awareness to do a better job of defying individual rights and the wishes of those people and shoving tyrannical big centralized goobermint down our throats, it's actually better if they stay the way they are. I'm sure that's all they'd do with that information, not adjust their worldview and policy preferences.

NYT soul searching:
—How do we make our propaganda more effective?
—How do we make it harder for others to out it as propaganda?
—How do we more effectively suppress other points of view?

Maybe it’d be better for them to just fold their tents and disappear.

Thanks for posting this. The author makes clear that
the NYT is editor-driven, and reporters must contort all
stories to fit "The Narrative."

What a load of BS! These people need to drastically change themselves before I’d be willing to spit on them.
For instance: >>”She continued: The red state America campaign coverage that rang the loudest in news coverage grew out of Trump rallies, and it often amplified the voices of the most hateful. “
They write this crappola, and then ignore the monstrously vicious democrat machine chewing up the streets... raping, pillaging and murdering. The NYT is my enemy.

For starters, its important to accept that the New York Times has always or at least for many decades been a far more editor-driven, and self-conscious, publication than many of those with which it competes. Self-conscious? I'd call it self-absorbed.
