Next great battle for conservatives: Keeping RINO insiders out of the administration
Conservative Review ^ | 11/14/16 | Daniel Horowitz

It’s no secret that Donald Trump is as much of a blank slate on policy as anyone who’s ever been elected president. Both supporters and opponents of the president-elect agree that Trump is still very malleable on many issues and has a lot to learn about both foreign and domestic policy. This is why it is critical for conservatives to win the ‘battle of personnel’ in the coming days.

Failure to land conservative outsiders in key cabinet and advisory roles would be akin to failing to establish control of the beach head during the Normandy invasion. We can dream of our policy battles once we get a footing on land, but if the same RINO insiders who broke the system are allowed to control the administration, we will immediately fall back in the sea, rendering the entire election moot.

I agree with the idea of getting conservatives into the administration, but I don’t agree that a person is a rino just because he might have worked for one in the past.

Nor is a person an establishment republican just because some online poster doesn’t like him/her. They need to provide examples and links.

For example, Kellyanne Conway worked for Gingrich and Cruz in the past. Does that make her an establishment republican because someone might dislike Gingrich or Cruz?

It looks like some people don’t appreciate that Trump is more interested in talent than purity.

Right on cue; the attacks from the left will stop when Soros runs out of the money he has budgeted for hiring “protesters”; but the right will pick up where he leaves off. The media will grab every attack from the right and run with it. The “Michael Collins Syndrome” will kick in. They have never thought about the Godfather’s line: “Keep you friends close (Steve Bannon) but you enemies (Reince Pribus) closer.” Savage has already started it.

To these people I ask “How do you think Trump won Wisconsin?”

Immigration and the SC picks. Anyone who helps get that right is fine by me. Everything else is gravy.

Not to worry Glenn Beck is already suicidal over Steve Bannon selection.

Apparently Beck is sure that Bannon is the Anti Christ

The first group to run out of the swamp are "elites" who came to DC with a net worth of five thousand dollars and were multimillionaires 6 years later.

The “Hillary” types... people who sold what they don't own... lowlifes who changed the laws so they could steal from taxpayers, sell 'access'...

Trump's taking a dollar a year for his salary to SERVE HIS COUNTRY. He's setting an example... there will BE NO THEFT of taxpayers property. In any of it's forms...

or at least keep them on very short leashes because with not being a politician and needing help to navigate DC initially, I doubt Trump can keep them all out, he needs a few select ones for a short time.

Regarding your theft comment, he has OPENLY advocated for eminent domain (aka theft of taxpayers’ property).

The ‘eminent domain’ case you’re talking about (Kelo v. City of New London. ) was passed by liberals in the Supreme Court. Conservatives fought it - and lost. It’s the law of the land and anyone can use it.
