I don’t feel good about this compromise.

Thanks. But will wait until it comes directly from President Trump and/or his organization.

Well, it’s not the choice I would make, but...

Priebus harnessed recalcitrant Republicans to support Trump, dedicated a lot of RNC resources to his election, and is an effective manager (though not as effective as Kellyanne Conway, IMO.)

And he’s a friend of Ryan’s, so he might be able to help with Congressional relations. (But they already have Pence for that.)

Unfortunately, as Chief of Staff, he’ll probably bring in a lot of Establishemnt Republicans who don’t share — or even see — Trump’s vision, and as Morton Blackwell reminds us, “personnel is policy.”

I’m for that if the Donald is. Trump commented that he was loyal from beginning to end and stood by him the whole time. So I don’t see a problem with it.

Try to withhold your disappointment. President Trump gushed with his thanks to Priebus on election night. He would not have done that if there was any doubt about Priebus’ loyalty. So I am not disappointed at all - if this is President Trump’s choice - I am all for it.

-—My first Trump disappointment.-—

Trump needs people who know how to govern...

Priebus has the background and connections to move things forward...

COS is not a position to be on a learning curve..

Yes - and it’s very wonderful that we have that way of communicating, as much as the MSM hate it.

How about people stop running here with every MSM rumor and let the man announce this stuff on his own?

I swear after months of bashing these people as untrustworthy, then you guys run right back to them with tails wagging, as if nothing happened.

Priebus was very helpful to Trump during the nomination process and the campaign.

Priebus knows all the players and danger zones.

I’m not only okay with this, I think he’s a good choice.

I did not like him in the beginning but it turns out he was largely responsible for keeping the ground game together and helping Trump when the party wanted to abandon him.

The RNC had 62 campaign offices in Florida to Trump’s 1 and Clinton’s 42.

He also wouldn’t abandon Trump to work on down-ballot Republicans after calls to do so at the very end by the RINO scumbags in the party.

The Trump campaign owes him a lot for his loyalty at least.

Priebus played it straight during the primaries and was loyal during the general election.

Reince is an establishment snake. He was front and center when the campaign was humming along, and shriveled up and disappeared when things got rocky.

I don’t trust him.

If it is Reince, I don’t have a problem.

He was loyal. Trump gave him a really good pat on the back the other day.
He is not a hack. He and Spitzer worked hard to get out the vote.
His attention to detail would serve Trump well.
