Something big has happened, on the very first day that Trump even visited the WH (two days ago). Remember what a shambles US foreign policy has been in Syria? We oppose terrorists in Iraq, yet fund the same ones in Syria, resulting in a unsolvable mess.
The US has now declared al-Nusra a terrorist organization, and we will no longer fund them, or give them weapons. These are the same guys that terrorized Christians in Maaloula and beheaded bishops. They are no longer “our friends”
