Back in 1999, Dr. Ledeen was a regular at FR, and he and I had an enjoyable e-mail correspondence about the causes of World War I and the condition of the Foreign Policy Community post-Reagan.

I'm pleased to see that Dr. Ledeen has weighed in on the election and that he has zeroed in on the core of what it means.
