He helped put the 100 days plan in place, along with several others.

The table will be set for President Trump to really get the economy rolling. Just getting our allies to pay fairly for their defense and Mexico to get serious about putting a halt to drug smuggling will pay huge dividends. The corporate tax incentive to repatriate billions of dollars from overseas accounts will free up investment capital to fill every pot hole in the Country with gold if we wish.

Repatriate the trillions parked offshore and

Cut regulations

These are the two things that can be done quickly to help the economy.

Trade negotiations, tax reform, entitlement reform would help the economy. But they move slowly.

I hope he doesn’t do a lot of infrastructure except the southern wall. Since Mexico is paying, they will get some of the jobs.

No one will like this but it’s true.

Nothing can be done to help the economy. Automation has eliminated too many jobs. A 50 yr old toll collector isn’t going to be retrained to be a software engineer designing toll collecting devices. It’s simply not going to happen.

Automation has put more people on benefits and nothing can be done about that, either, but let them die.

Infrastructure work will create more jobs than anything I can think of. Find a way to cut the red tape and privatize as much as possible.

You make the rash assumption that people in general are not c capable of adaptation. But then again, your comment is obvious to the liberal mindset that people are cast. Those only cast are those who never tried to become anything anyway.

With all the automation, somebody still needs to design them, build them, transport them, install them and maintain them.

You probably haven't noticed but several countries that are not us are years ahead of us on robotics.

I once though we would have been able to lead that industry and keep us proper up until we can decide how the average citizen can get a part of that robotized pie, but I now think other countries will beat us to that. I have absolutely no idea how our economy will be decided up so that those who have no robots can make a living. I guess we will have to figure some model that works like the Indian casinos. :)

...50 yr old toll collectors who retrained to be software coders...

So if I posted pictures w/ names & stories you'd agree?   My bet is that your belief is fixed and there's no possible info anyone could ever post that'd ever make a difference.

Meanwhile humans have adapted and advanced for hundreds of thousands of years and will continue to do so.   fwiw, at age 55 I got laid off and switched from civil engineering to finance --and I love it.!

okay look, you’re willfully delusional.

The issue is toll collectors IQ is likely sub 100. They aren’t going to retrain as software engineers, certainly not at 50.

Civil engineering to finance is a step down in IQ reqmt, not up.

And you are completely aware of this, or you’re a liberal.
