This is a video from a liberal explaining that Donald Trump won because liberals no longer know how to discuss anything, and they picked a horrible candidate.
I don't agree with his premise, or his opinion of Donald Trump, but he's pretty spot on about how liberals believe calling people names and shutting down discussion is "persuasive", and how if you tell people they are racist they won't likely listen to you.
I found the video entertaining anyway, even though he buys the media spin about Donald Trump hook, line, and sinker.

I voted for Trump for the following reason.
If you asked Hillary about Congress’s constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers she would predictably cackle.
If you asked Trump about Congress’s constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers he would predictably extend the courtesy of listening to you.

1. HIS people don’t want to hear ANY of that. He can scream that 1,000 times —they WII not hear it. WE love it, sure. But that’s just US.
2. That was FAKE spontaneity. It wasn’t something off the cuff. He wasn’t rushing off to do something else. It was scripted. The left ALWAYS likes to pretend that planned stuff isn’t planned. Then it seems more real.

I think his solution of having discussion won't work for the left wingers.
We have an example in talk radio where discussion is used, where the leftists have to answer calls from people who disagree with them and defend the leftist position.
The right wingers dominate talk radio not the leftists.

This guy is an actor playing an “angry reporter” character named “Jonathan Pie”. I’ve seen at least 2 or 3 of these videos of his. One involved Brexit... this was all posted yesterday, of course, with the same explanation.

Wow! This guy gets it, or at least some of it. There are a few people on our side who aren’t real open to discussion either, but the left is so much better at belittling those they disagree with.
On a side note, probably should have put up a language warning. He manages to cram more F-bombs into 5+ minutes than most rap songs.

Throughout the campaigns, most of the candidates acted as politicians and talked AT people. Trump talked TO people.
Even in his huge rallies, he would engage with people.
Nearly every word or movement or position from Clinton was scripted and focus-group analyzed. Also, Clinton just dusted off the same old speeches with the same old talkingpoints Dems were giving 25 years ago.
I think Hillary Clinton lost the election when she came out with her ‘basket of deplorables’ remark. That certainly did not endear millions to change sides and vote for her.
Some of the Republican wannabes had similar problems during the primaries by insulting large groups of supporters of the other candidates.

Lib attempts at talk radio do not last long.
I recall listening to about 45 minutes of Air America over 2 days when it first started. It was nothing but insults and unfounded allegations and name-calling against conservatives. I never listened to it after that.
