Remember the turning point, when Trump held a press conference with Bill Clinton's victims

Posted on 11/11/2016 4:07:47 AM PST by cotton1706

That shook them. Trump was supposed to be down and out, thoroughly and gleefully destroyed.

But he turned the tables on them, and in the debate that followed, fearlessly confronted them to their faces.

Wasn’t he advised against that? I know that Reagans advisors were against his tear down this wall statement. The next one should be President Castro “Free Your People”

Isn't it funny how this is always how it goes? Some "smart" insider gives advice to proceed cautiously. A Leader takes his own counsel. Beautiful.

That was a classic moment. Most of the media tripped over themselves trying to get out of the room after they were confronted with that scene.

I like to think that the turning point was when he made his entrance to that rally to the tune of “Can you hear the (deplorables) sing. “. Hilarious. I wonder whose idea that was.

Trump has shown us all why he has been the great success he is in his private business life. He is a brilliant strategic as well as a tactical thinker. His mass manipulation of the fools in the media was a thing of beauty to witness. He owned them throughout this campaign even as they believed they would be able to destroy him. They danced to his tune while themselves believing they were the Maestro.

Trump’s greatest and most admirable asset is his confidence and absolute conviction in what he believes. He is fearless and says things other so called “leaders” only dream about saying but won’t out of fear of the “mighty” press.

Trump spoke to the people from his heart while telling the media to take a flying f*ck. The (real) American people looked on in wonder as all they ever hoped for in this election came to be and the stain of the past 8 yrs (and more to be honest) was wiped away in one absolutely glorious evening, an evening which I will never forget as long as I live.

“When the student is ready the teacher shall appear”

And so it has happened.

God Bless you Mr. President Donald J Trump and God Bless this magnificent Nation in which we are all so fortunate to live.

Trump beat the Democrats at their own game. Refusal to do so has been the failing of the Republican Party. The question now is will the Republicans learn from it?

I can recall the third debate when Trump invited Mrs. Smith, the mother of Andrew Stevens, the late Libyan Ambassador. At one point Hillary blasted Trump with “and you still haven’t apologized to..(blah blah)”, I wanted so badly to have Trump point out that Hillary STILL hadn’t apologized to Mrs. Smith and that she’s in the audience right now and demanded Hillary apologize to her on-air that very moment.

“Go on, Hillary. She’s a suffering mother who lost her child. You should at least have the decency to apologize to her. C’mon Hillary. Do this right now....”

It would have been crushing to her campaign if she did apologize or if she didn’t. If she does it, she admits she lied and looks weak. If she doesn’t, she looks like a cold, heartless bitch.

That moment could have taken all the fake accusers and literally forced them off the front page.

Wish like hell he had done that but we won anyway so I guess I will let it go.

Practically every Trump rally was aired live by the media last spring for FREE! He couldn’t have bought that kind of advertising. His rambling, off the cuff speeches kept the media spellbound in their quest for their next soundbite.

What they succeeded in doing however, is introduce him to America. A nation eager to “Build the wall”, and who believed the media was an enemy, eventually coalesced around the one individual who could withstand the onslaught of attacks that were coming, regardless of who was the nominee.

Thank you CNN, Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS. You paved the way for Donald Trump to become President.

“He is a brilliant strategic as well as a tactical thinker.”

It’s an instinct with him — a God-given talent. He reads situations, quickly assesses them, and makes the correct decision.

It’s like that guy in a rock group -— Sha Na Na, I think. He had a sixth sense when it came to contracts — could look at one and know immediately what was going on — where the loopholes were, who benefitted when, etc. IIRC, he went on to work in the field of contracts.

Yes! If he gets no action threaten to reinstate sanctions against Cuba until Castro frees all political prisoners, holds free and open elections and then steps down, and dismantles his secret police.

I will never forget the second debate which occurred just after the famous video was released. The democrats, composed of the party and the MSM, gathered like vultures to witness the picking apart of Trump. He was scheduled to disappear without a trace. Trump turned the tables on Hillary and annihilated her. It was classic.

IMHO, the turning point occurred on 9/11 when Hillary collapsed and was thrown into the back of the van like a sack of potatoes. In one fell swoop (as Shakespeare would say), we learned the truth” Hillary was ill and the mainstream media were liars.

Of course, it didn't help Hillary Clinton with that totally ridiculous speech against the Alt-Right back in late August 2016 and that "basket of deplorables" speech in early September 2016. P***ing off a large fraction of voters is political suicide, to paraphrase pollster Frank Luntz.
