They certainly seemed to want to, er, pee on Donald... why? Couldn’t they think more than 5 minutes down the political road?
Well here’s how I see it. Sanity is coming back to the USA. Donald was elected and there was not a world-consuming earthquake.
It would be worth it to press them, press them hard, about what were they thinking. We might find that the devil was, indeed, about to eat their spirits for dinner, to paraphrase what the Democrat camp was into.
But to pee on them... no. This is something bigger than us. We were helpless, we were powerless, we didn’t do anything but say yes among a chokingly large crowd of naysayers that was technically even larger. God wrote this story. Let’s worship its Author and forgive the transgressors who are repenting.
