Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday congratulated Donald Trump on his election victory, saying the Republican is “a true friend of the State of Israel.”
“We will work together to advance security, stability and peace in our region,” Netanyahu said in a statement.
“The bond between the US and Israel is based on shared values, shared interests and a shared future. I am sure that President-elect Trump and I will continue to strengthen the special alliance between Israel and the US and we will bring them to new heights,” he added.
Later Wednesday, Netanyahu released a video congratulating Trump.

God smiles on Israel and her friends. God smiled on America yesterday. Israel and America will survive Obama.

Israel has to be breathing a collective sigh of relief today.
Trump’s election has the potential to completely change the political dynamic in America, like FDR in 1932 and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. I’m not saying that it’s going to happen, but if Trump plays his cards right the Democrats may no longer be able to start every election with a huge advantage of Jewish and black voters.
Trump will get along well with Netanyahu and Putin, and will put the mullas and the jihadis in their place.
Yet another benefit of a Trump presidency. Israel has a friend in the White House again.

No truer words have ever been spoken. All praise and glory to God for His great miracles! Maybe one of the greatest miracles I have ever seen happened in my lifetime happened yesterday.
Yes. Finally, Israel can count on United States again.
