Every agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation takes an oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic” and to “bear true faith and allegiance to the same.” And he swears to “faithfully discharge the duties of the office.”
It is much the same oath taken by members of Congress, by military officers and government employees. It is an oath that goes back to Washington and Lincoln. Its origins lie in the Constitution.
And FBI Director James Comey violated it.

Can you say backfire? I think the Clintoons were too cute by one-half here and she will slip another point. Most people know that you cannot wrap up an investigation up in one week. Not possible. I would like to see this corrupt Kleptocrat in front of Congress again mumbling his nonsense. My Gaydar when up when I saw Comey on TV, that slight lilt in his voice, he’s got a BF in the FBI and didn’t want to be outed. That combined with his personal grifting. Job one in his first meeting with his new AG, “I want that scumbag Comey looked into, I want him froggmarched out and humillated”
Comey showed how to take a stellar reputation and dump it in the trash. He’ll be remembered as a disgraced FBI director.

Director Comey has a wife and five children. The only reason I can see for him to have betrayed his country when faced with the Clintons is obvious. I hope and pray that his family will not be harmed by America’s enemies.

Comey is neither thoroughly corrupt nor a career leftist. The FBI Director is simply a coward. He is not without his convictions. If he were, the investigation that he has belatedly quashed twice, would have been aborted far earlier. He would never have mentioned the Ferguson Effect, despite the displeasure of the White House, or engaged in sundry other violations of the politically correct norms of Obamastan.
Instead Comey exemplifies the famous quote, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
Just echoing Trump when we all say, “the system is rigged”. Our government is corrupt to the core and we see yet another example of why we need to elect Trump, hopefully he WILL drain the swamp.

I don’t think that yesterday affects much. Some will be more likely to vote for her because Comey declared her innocent, and a nearly equal number will vote against her because they see a cover up. Furtherore, if Comey had said nothing, the issue would have continued to fade. Comey put the whole thing back on the front page.

Obama has spent eight years creating a shield around his presidency. Generals, cabinet members, Secretaries of Everything, and Directors.......really, do people believe Obama would have appointed an FBI director that wasn’t in support of his agenda?
Comey hasn’t been blackmailed, threatened, or paid off. He is a progressive and he is protecting his candidate, Hillary Clinton.

2013: In September, Comey is nominated by President Obama to become the Director of the FBI.
2014: Lynch is nominated by President Obama to become the US Attorney General, replacing the disgraced Eric Holder.
2016: Lynch holds a secret meeting aboard a Gulfstream jet on the tarmac in Phoenix with ex-President Bill Clinton. A few days later, FBI Director Comey announces there will be no charges against presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Promises made to Lynch and Comey are unknown at this time.
