Trump has questioned whether the FBI could review 650,000 emails in one week. Comey's most recent letter to Congress makes it clear that they in fact did not do so. Comey claimed in his letter that the FBI reviewed every email on Wiener's laptop that was to or from Hillary Clinton. One can infer from that comment that they did not review emails to or from Huma that used her address from Clinton's server? Why did the FBI not review these emails? If they contained classified information, as they most probably did, would that not be further evidence that, when Hillary caused the server to be set up and authorized her principal aide to use it to send and receive classified information, she was grossly negligent in the handling of classified information?
Comey was just covering his own butt.
Not checking email to or from Huma using clontonemail is further outrage.
Part of the problem with those emails on Weiner’s computer is how did they get there, and where could they have gone from there. There’s NO WAY the FBI could’ve investigated that.
True that. Comey claimed to have reviewed only those emails to and from Hillary during her tenure as SOS. By dismissing duplicates that may not have included anything. He did not respond to the hundreds of thousands of emails not specified as SOS/Hillary.
After formatting to some continually searchable mode, that many emails could be searched in a rather reasonable time frame.
The key depends on what exactly were the search terms they used? If all they searched for was emails from to/from Clinton herself then the FBI is just as lousy as I’ve continually said it is here. Not only lousy, but criminal in my opinion. Or did they even search them at all? Did they just let somebody from the DoJ come over and bless it? Somebody from the Clinton campaign?
I have to willing suspend all disbelief to believe they didn’t find anything illegal or against government regulations or that involved classified information (marked or deliberately unmarked). Even at the hint of anything classified, which if unmarked has to be read by a human in the intelligence field.
Look at it this way, DoJ, FBI, the State Department took and interminably long time to ‘sift’ through the prior Clinton emails (after purging by HER lawyers) that were 1/20 the number of these new emails. It is impossible to have ‘reviewed’ this new batch correctly in such a short time.

Its hard for me to believe as well. The text in those 650,000 separate documents could be searched, but if you either put in arcane search terms, or commonly-used expressions, you’ll likely get what any of us would get searching such a database: just a few hits or a humongous number of hits. IMO they’d have to go to a manual search. And I can hardly believe those 650,000 documents are all personal, things like schedules, or cookie recipes. Hillary isn’t going to bother with stuff like that when communicating with Huma.
Shouldn’t the fact that the emails are on Weiner’s laptop be an actionable offense ?

Wait! What about the supposed rebellion from inside the FBI? What about all the “honest” agents who were going to resign? What about the supposedly honest NYPD who were going to force the issue? Pedophiles? Trips to sex resorts? Espionage?
All the people who have been spinning such yarns here on FR over the past week really gave me cause for hope. And once again....nothing.

To late for Comey to cover his, he is covering Clintons. It was all planned the way it happened, a whole lot of “play acting” on both of their parts.

“I would assume that given the director’s cowardice … and the feathering of his political nest, the Clinton Foundation probe is dead. He has absolutely no stomach for investigating Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, or the foundation.”
DiGenova ripped Comey for an “incompetent” investigation that has made the director a “law enforcement laughingstock” and has caused regular people think the probe was “being run by Inspector Clouseau.” He said Comey had stripped himself of credibility.
“The FBI at this point, under the stewardship of Jim Comey, is now in shambles,” he said.

Makes perfect sense. His actions were choreographed together. Last week was the "setup" act, where he was playing the role of a cop, to funnel the public energy for "lock her up". The recent letter was the second act to this show, where he dismisses the "lock her up" crowd by saying 'nothing to see here'.
The LHU crowd is not voting for Canky, and that was not Comey's audience. No, his target was the last-minute LIV voters, who now sense that there is nothing to see here. The LHU crowd, us, are just unwilling actors in Comey's 2-act play performance.
Because Huma is not running for President. There is plenty of time to indict Huma later if required.
