I have been a registered Reupublican in PA since turning 18. And while election cycles always mean calls from the party, I have never been contacted as often as I have been over the last week. Averaging 2 calls a day from obvious phone bank workers and recorded messages from surrogates.
This is far more frequent and on the ball than any election I have been alive for. I don't know if I am just an outlier, but if Trumps overall operation is firing at this level nationally, I am really dubious of the alleged ground game advantage that the Dems and Media have been claiming for Hillary.
Anyone else notice this?

The visual support (placards, posters, stickers, flags) for Trump are unlike anything I have ever seen in 50 years here in Pennsylvania.
It is a real movement. And what is truly amazing is that a lot of this support is coming from registered democrats.

Given that Nifster was making a general statement not addressed to anyone in particular, and yet YOU seem to have taken great offense from it, I can only assume that you must see yourself as a pearl clutcher. Not to mention I didn’t see a single thing that Nifster said that would make me or anyone else, excepting perhaps YOU, think the dude was an a-hole.
I’m in PA and I haven’t received a single Trump anything. Mail, phone call, nothing.
I’m getting Toomey stuff, and YouTube Toomey ads all the time.
I’m getting lots of pro-Hillary mailings (Make terrible kindling. They are covered with that waxy crap. Just like her.) and a ton of McGinty BS.
I have been saying this all cycle. What’s going on in the rust belt is bigger than Trump.. But he is the catalyst... By throwing the free trade dogma overboard and a few other things, he’s the catalyst for a long overdue realignment of working class white voters in this region. If the R’s don’t screw it up this region could be as reliably republican as the south in a few cycles..
This is a deep undercurrent that has been building for a while, and long past due to happen, but republicans adherence to certain things like free trade uber alles... Has prevented this realignment.
The Trump/Hillary stuff has created so much surface frothing that this much bigger undercurrent is being missed.
These folks have worked hard and played fair their entire life and watched their towns decimated their kids lost to drugs or unable to any better than wal mart or Home Depot. Meanwhile illegals move in and get free checks.
Then to add insult to injury their party asks them to vote for someone they know didn’t work honest or hard to get what she has but stole and cheated for it.... They aren’t going to show up for Hillary and realize their party has betrayed and abandoned them... If the R’s don’t eff it up we are looking at the beginning of a multi generation shift in this region.
I have been getting 3-5 mailers a day for weeks at this point from all sorts of organized and candidates.
No one ever calls me, because I have only an unlisted cell phone, and I do not answer if I do not recognize the caller ID.
I;m getting at least three calls each day specifically from Trump PACs or Republican operations the past three or four days here in central PA. Those are just the ones that leave a message. There are another two or three hangups that might very well be Trump-related as well.
I’m a Libertarian, so this might be a special outreach to “Independents” or “Unaffiliated” voters.

I get Trump and RNC email all the time. Newt, Dr.Ben, and Rudy G. were here Fri. Sat. Sunday at the Vegas Trump office. We went to see Newt, we made calls today for 2 hours and caught Rudy G. GOTV speech to a full room of Deplorables.
Then we took a class on Poll watchers for election day.
And we are going door knocking Tommorow GOTV.
So you can’t complain if your not doing something to keep the bitch out of the White House.
Get all your friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, Gym buddies out to vote for Trump. That is what you do.

Right not you, I got tired a long time ago of the RNC giving us losers, we got a man who can get er done we got to back him.
Telephone calls are one thing. Have you witnessed any Trump/GOP door to door canvassing? Have you heard any plans to get favorable voters to the polls by carpool, etc.?
In Ohio and either their both already convinced what I’ll do or their lists don’t include me for some reason. Nary a call all year.
I am from Manhattan but I have volunteered full time in Bucks county, PA for the last 2.5 weeks. I have gone door knocking for hours a day, and made plenty of phone calls. I have met quite a few other people from NYC, NJ, and Delaware who come here to campaign as well as many locals. The enthusiasm level of the people I reach is very high. Remember the “broken glass” Republicans from previous elections? Even better now. Bucks County has a very good GOTV plan.
We’re in suburban Phila, and we’ve had a lot of calls. Most are pollsters (we hang up on them), but we’ve also had a number of calls from the Trump GOTV operation. The state GOP has also had people calling to follow up on absentee ballot applications, which has given me one more opportunity to pass along the problems faced by our college-age son and several of his friends seeking absentee ballots in Montgomery County.
