DONALD TRUMP Promises $100 billion to Inner Cities and Infrastructure over 8 years! America First

Brunell Donald-Kyei's interview with a liberal media stooge. She is amazing, nothing he says gets her off track, she just reiterates the salient facts: Trump Offers Inner Cities $100 Billion over next 8 years + School Choice. With ladies like this pulling for Americans I do believe a new day is dawning.

I agree. Our inner cities are a national embarrassment. Instead of looting the tax payers and sending money in every direction all over the planet, rebuilding foreign countries etc., we need to invest in America.

America first.

Urban renewal is a waste of time as long as the Urbanites remain with their current mindset

As long as the $100 billion is off-set by real spending cuts and a reduction in the income tax I’m OK with this.

School choice means different things to different people. To your average statist, school choice just means allowing a degree of flexibility in choosing which PUBLIC SCHOOL your child can attend. To libertarians, it means an end to compulsory education and an end to school taxes for those who don’t use the government school system. When it comes to school choice, like most things, the devil’s in the details.

Urban renewal?

Oh, you're thinking of the screw worms who've been in power for nearly 3 decades who subverted and looted all the funds and spend it in a reckless manner. You got it.

But that's not what we're talking about here. We're talking about bringing in jobs and companies into these areas. Not handing out cash to every community organizer con man with his hand out.

Or would you preferring keeping it business as usual, having your taxes looted by corrupt gov to be used to benefit foreign countries?

I don’t think throwing money at problems fixes them and that is what urban renewal has been.

Trump’s form of urban renewal would not be the same animal. His emphasis has been on school choice which would create opportunities for families & children to succeed. Their success would be America’s success.

Trump rewards effort and commitment to success. The opportunities he would create would change the dynamic of the inner cities from the Democratic plantation where trying to work is actively disincentivized to a system more like the rest of America where hard work and ambition breed success.

Just the difference between a realist and problem solver attacking a problem and a social justice warrior posing which is all we have had til now.

As long as it isnt free bees and handouts I can handle it.

One way is to give SB loans to stimulate business. But before they hand out loans, they have to tell these communities to work with the law enforcement to clean out the crime. That means neighborhood wacthes which requires these areas to kick the GD CRIMINALS OUT! That means drugs, and everything.

Either they show they are interested, or they dont get s$#t!

I prefer to keep mine too, but that’s not what’s happening. Btw, you evaded the question.

Really? And just how much of that tax money is now being wasted on a corrupt establishment in these areas? A hell of a lot more than if that money was spent to get them straightened out.

So if you want to keep wasting your taxes, keep it the way it is. It’ll cost you a hell of a lot more when they riot and burn those GD places down and we have to dole out tax money to build those shit holes back up.

a waste of time for the future prez.

I’d rather spend $100 billion and turn Chicago into that nice little zoo in the movieEescape from New York and keep all criminals and liberals together.

I think school choice means accountability. If parents are free to change to alternate schools the public schools will either wither and die or they will be forced to compete by actually educating.

Parents will be able to chose the environment they feel suits their child best, whether that be a STEM magnet school, a school with religious association, a Montessori school etc.

The ability to choose is empowering and strengthens the family unit as well. That ability to choose what is best for your child is being unfairly restricted by tying the community & Federal school dollars to failing schools. The opposition to school choice comes from the unions who are indifferent to the status quo content.

And money and the will for aggressive policing, too, let’s hope. Decent, working AA inner city residents must be fed up with armed thugs.
We don’t need new gun laws. Chicago has a peck already. Enforce the ones on the books. Rout them out of there.
And stop the flow of drugs and gang members through Mexico.
Those will be big steps towards making America great again.

Sorry. Throwing more money at failed ghettos won’t work after the trillions we’ve already spent. But it is an election so I understand his pledge.

I think you didn’t listen to the video.

This is a very disciplined, articulate, intelligent lady explaining why although she has been and still is a Democrat she realizes Dem’s promises are air.

She is steadfast in the face of a great deal of insinuation, lies and belittlement from the host in her statement that Donald Trump is the only candidate who has spoken up and offered to bring jobs, school choice and real opportunity. She returns over & over to the big picture refusing to be distracted by the mud thrown by the host.

Throwing money is not The Donald’s plan and if he can tap the potential in these kids & young adults by making the inner cities safe to walk in, promoting school choice, helping by creating incentives for businesses to relocate in those areas & new businesses to be created then it will be money well spent & repaid with interest.
