Apple Offers Anti-Trump App Allowing Voters To Trade Votes
zerohedge.com ^ | Nov. 4, 2016 | Tyler Durden

At a time rife with speculation that the presidential vote on Tuesday may be rigged or tampered, we find it troubling - not to mention illegal - that Tim Cook has allowed the Apple store to distribute an app called #NeverTrump created by Trimian, whose mission statement is "Red or Blue, we must all unite to defeat Trump this election. Let's ensure Hillary wins in swing states, and make sure third-party votes count."

The app allows potential voters to trade votes, boosting Hillary's support in swing or battleground states, while 3rd party candidates get more (meaningless) support in blue states.

Vote Trading, also known as vote swapping or vote pairing, is the practice of voting for or against another person's bill, position on a more general issue, or favored candidate in exchange for the other person's vote for or against a position, proposal, or candidate that one supports.

~~~~~~
We match Hillary voters in blue states with third-party voters in swing states to help them trade votes. Hillary gets more swing votes and third-party candidates get their votes counted.
This is silly - who is going to believe some stranger is going to vote the way you expect them to, with no possible proof? Plus it has be to completely illegal - they should arrest these people and prosecute them for voter fraud.
These left-wing nut cases are heavily organized, state to state, it’s very possible to do and it’s illegal.
How is this legal?
It's protected by the First Amendment.
There were two similar websites in 2000. One was shut down the California AG, and the second shut down on its own after what happened to the first one.
A subsequent ruling by the 9th Circuit said it was protected free speech, and was different from buying/selling votes:
Porter v. Bowen
This is one of the reasons the 9th Circuit ruled that it cannot be prohibited.
See my post #6.
Apple - the one company that has more CASH stowed overseas than any other. Yet Hillary is the candidate who promises to “make those corporations bring back home all of their money and we will tax it at 100%”
Yeah - right.
Anybody remember votergasm?
I’ll not link it here, but Rush mentioned it during the 2004 election cycle.
The left is demented.
I think what really makes it legal is there is no way to enforce a "contract".
You and I can promise to vote for particular candidates, but in the end there's no way to force you to vote as promised, and vice versa.
So, it's just two guys talking sh**.
Exactly.
Sure, I’ll trade votes with you. You vote for my cause and trust me; I’ll vote for yours.
Definitely.
You can believe me. I am a Democrat.
I would think apple could get sued pretty bad for this. Conspiracy to commit and facilitate vote fraud.
We Freeper Trump supporters can use this app to our advantage. Here’s how: We all download the app and pretend to be Jill Stein supporters in swing states. Hillary supporters in blue states then offer to vote for Stein if we promise to vote for Hillary. Hillary’s number of popular nationwide popular votes gets reduced, and we prevent a vote swap that otherwise would have happened between the Hillary supporter and a real Stein supporter from actually happening.
>>How is this legal?
It’s a non-binding agreement between two private parties. It’s basically the “gun show loophole” for retards.
