Reminds me of the scene from Election where the Principal wanted to suspend the student candidate for class President for being irreverent in her student body speech.

Wear it, refuse to remove it, get the suspension and then sue their asses off. A Hillary FOR president wouldn’t have gotten a second glance.
Time to sue the school for millions on violating her freedom of expression.
You can go in with a dozen piercings and obscene clothing and call it freedom of speech. But a teacher who can’t control their students because a political t-shirt starts a class uproar the teacher can’t control freedom of speech no longer applies. This sound more like a school discipline issue. If the they give the girl a suspension I would hope Trump or a Trump PAC would pay to sue the school.
“because of the disruption it was causing. …”. It’s as easy as that, folks; simply raise a ruckus; yell fire in a theater; FEEL micro-aggressed, and get your way. That’s the same strategy babies use to get fed and coddled.
Next day, wear a trump for prison shirt. If no response, document it well in writing and film and file suit.
If the school bans all political t-shirts, liberal and conservative, fine.

I have been driving a school bus for the past couple months. I have a high school boy who sometimes wears his “Hillary for prison” T shirt. I told him, “Nice shirt” one day when he was getting on.
When we said “free speech”, we didn’t mean for you.
Maxine told WPTV: ‘There was a group of girls in there who started talking really loudly and kind of obnoxiously about how awful Trump supporters are and how they are all racist and saying some really ignorant things.’
Sure sounds like it was the group of girls that were causing the disruption, not the t-shirt. And what is an “in school suspension”...she has to stay there but can’t go to class?
I wonder if it was what was said on the shirt or how she looked in it.
I can imagine a busty girl wearing an extra small T-shirt. It would not be the logo that would be the problem. And yes, it WOULD be disruptive.
What is this school going to do when they hang a picture of President Trump in the admin office?

The rule of Tinker has come to mean that a school may not regulate student expression unless the regulation may be ‘justified by a showing that the student[’s] [speech] would materially and substantially disrupt the work and discipline of the school.’
The question is whether there was a disruption, or if only the teachers and administrators were censoring the student's free speech.
I’d wear the shirt each and every day. I’m all for school discipline, but if that shirt had a rainbow and advocated for transgender rights, there’d be not one problem with it. I understand that the only standards that liberals understand are double standards, but it is time for the people to apply a real standard to public employees: If you ban political shirts, you ban ALL political shirts, including messages you agree with.
Punish the morons who were causing the disruption by reacting poorly to someone exercising their freedom of speech.
