How much are the Clinton’s going to have to pay Obama for their own pardons?

Someone mentioned this afternoon that a president can be impeached after he is out of office.

If Obama knows what’s good for him, he’ll let them dangle.

His pension and his SS protection might depend on it.

If I was Obama, the price would be 1.8 billion.

Guess Bill (being the sex addict he is) will need to change his preference while in Federal prison. Not enough female guards to cover his extreme acting out.

Hillary on the other hand, will be in heaven. ;D

Yes, and that is similar to something I posted earlier today.

Speaking of possible rape trials in the works, how about a double Bill.

Youtube is abuzz with the insider coup, announced by steve pieczenik... but i’ve not seen anything on his other video which goes a LONG LONG way explaining why everyone at high levels is dropping and erasing HRC twitter feeds...

This is gonna leave a REAL mark if it’s true:

They have to be convicted of something first, no? Let’s save to prosecution until after 1/20/17. Thanks. Meanwhile Obama needs to be prosecuted, too.

Didn’t they have a movie out a few years back with Sissy Spacek and Fred Thompson where she worked for the governor of Tennessee and she exposed the corruption in his office for selling pardons? It was a true story and Fred Thompson played himself, because I am assuming he was the real attorney on the case. I believe the governor went to prison. I think the name of the movie was Marie.

Yeah, this isn’t news though. I remember hearing about this when it happened, when Bill left office. It tarnished him but since he was leaving it didn’t last. They do know how to manipulate the media.

Obama can issue a full unconditional pardon before they are convicted or indicted. There is a well known precedent for this.

To me the most interesting disclosure in those FBI docs was the dinner party beforehand that the FBI considered relevant to the pardon.

The names of the people attending the dinner were redacted. Wonder if it included people today high up in the Justice Department?

This document was released by the FBI just a few days ago. The investigation was conducted by the Ashcroft justice department and a political decision was made not to pursue it.

“Obama can issue a full unconditional pardon before they are convicted or indicted. There is a well known precedent for this.”

That is true, but it’s unclear if he’s willing to tarnish whatever’s left of his “legacy” by doing that. Some rumors have it that he’s buying foreign property so he can “bug out” himself.

Besides, I’m quite sure he hates the Clintons with a passion. ;-)

"The presidential power to pardon was derived from the royal English Prerogative of Kings, which dated from before the Norman invasion. The royal power was absolute, and the king often granted a pardon in exchange for money or military service. Parliament tried unsuccessfully to limit the king's pardon power, and finally it succeeded to some degree in 1701 when it passed the Act of Settlement, which exempted impeachment from the royal pardon power."

From heritage.org.

Apparently it was not a crime for Clinton to sell pardons for cash, so he did so and didn't even bother to try to hide it.
