Obama can issue a full unconditional pardon before they are convicted or indicted. There is a well known precedent for this.

That is true, but it’s unclear if he’s willing to tarnish whatever’s left of his “legacy” by doing that. Some rumors have it that he’s buying foreign property so he can “bug out” himself.

Besides, I’m quite sure he hates the Clintons with a passion. ;-)

We still have to investigate whether Obama is legal. If not, his pardons, like his executive orders, mean nothing.

There is a well known precedent for this.

Well known, but NOT well argued. In fact, not challenged at all!

The courts will not, cannot, rule on the lawfulness of any "precedent" that has never been challenged.

Who has standing?

Is that important safeguard for The People (allowing criminals to escape punishment for defrauding the general public) so easily made to vanish?

There must be a clear establishment of a no statute of limitation for politically inspired major crimes by elected, appointed political, criminals, their employees and "friends (read contributors.)"

Also no elected Federal officer (Executive, legislative or judicial, shall increase their net worth more than 100% while in office.

Additionally, No retired Federal elected or appointed member of the three branches who has a net worth more than ten times the median net worth of the non government employed citizen shall be entitled to receive any retirement benefits whatsoever.

It is instructive to note that Harry Truman was the first president to receive presidential benefits, and it was quite modest by any standard, old or new.

It was never intended to be a pathway to effective royalty at taxpayer expense, and created and modified by the elected criminals themselves, with no provision to exercising the rights of veto by the citizens to limit the amount of the increases and how often the salaries may occur.
Five years sounds reasonable, but not mandatory.
If the elected criminals can no longer assume the right to set their own salaries, perhaps that would inhibit the indifference with which they view niceties like inflation, cost of living and the integrity of retirement survival.

He can issue a pardon........ and his Presidency will be greatly defined by it.

The Obama’s do not like the Clinton’s and vice versa. This is well known despite what they say on the campaign trail.

How far does Obama want to go - the S.S. Clinton is leaking like a sieve via wikileaks. It’s bad and they have promised it will get worse. Act now and pay later? Don’t act - preserve your reputation and on top of that you rid yourself of an enemy. He retains control by not acting - if she is elected they will freeze him out.

This is more interesting than television!
