Whoa. According to CNN contributor Hugh Hewitt, (no friend of Donald Trump) the Obama Justice Department denied the FBI’s request for a grand jury pertaining to an investigation into the Clinton Foundation:
Might this be why Barack Obama was playing so nice with FBI Director James Comey today, declaring Comey wasn’t doing anything wrong in updating Congress on new evidence pertaining to the ongoing Clinton investigation despite other Democrats crying foul at that update coming so close to Election Day?
Certainly the Obama White House would have had input into the DOJ’s decision to shut down the FBI’s grand jury request, thus adding yet another significant layer of government collusion into what is already a sordid, (even by Clinton standards) mess of backroom political dealing.

Yesterday it was donna Brazile who cheated and gave the debate questions to Hillary. why is she still chair of the DNC? Today Obama killed the grand jury for Comey. no wonder he did not pursue Hillary criminally. Obama shut it down! This really is a constitutional crisis.

What prevents the FBI from getting an appropriate prosecutor in the Eastern District from empaneling a grand jury. I fail to see how the AG can shut it down.

1) A federal judge supervising a grand jury has now made a finding, based on FBI affidavits which present evidence gathered during the preliminary Hillary inquiry (the one which the FBI director stated had been closed back in July), that there’s probable cause to believe that a federal crime was committed in connection with Mrs. Clinton’s use of a private email server.
We still, however, don’t know what crime(s) are suspected to have been committed. Or by whom.
2) The FBI can use this new grant of grand jury authority to investigate Mrs. Clinton’s use of a private email server for the first time to issues subpoenaes to obtain testimony from witnesses and compel the production of documents and things. The Bureau and DOJ can, furthermore, use the judge’s probable cause finding to support further warrant applications.

So to piece this together:
DOJ is protecting Clinton.
And THAT is what’s pissing off the rank and file FBI agents.
So Comey writes his letter....
?
And immense disgust at it.
So, you’d have to think that the “accidental” meeting on the tarmac was about protecting Bubba from a Grand Jury and not really about the Cankles’s emails. That would be any reasonable person’s conclusion based on the known facts.
