CNN host Chris Cuomo blamed the rise of the Islamic State terrorist group on former President George W. Bush in a Twitter tirade on Monday.
Cuomo blamed Americas military withdrawal from Iraq in 2011 on Bush, presumably referring to an agreement reached between Washington and Baghdad three years earlier.

When did the Coumos stop funding the CPUSA?
I can see that.
Bush lost to Obama, who appointed Clinton as Secretary of State, who in turn created ISIS and inflicted it upon the world.
Thus, a clear case of Bush’s fault.
The son of a bitch’s back must be killing him from moving the goalposts constantly.
He's, like, the newer Rick Sanchez of CNN
CNN + Cuohomo = clusterhump

Not so fast! Do you really want to give Boosh a pass on the ME mess? When I think how he dicked along for a half-dozen years, there pi$$ing away our treasury and getting our young people killed, I feel like he should be tried and put in jail along with Hillary and Obola. We did nothing but destabilize the ME and then walk away. We should never have put one troop in harm’s way there.
Lighten up Chrissy. Bush is old news. Without your queen, Hillary Clintoon, they’d be no ISIS.
You are correct only because of hindsight.
Virtually everyone here and a majority of America’s their politicians and a coalition of 30 countries agreed with our actions in Iraq.
I remember it in complete detail.
14 UN illegal WMD resolutions against Iraq
Saddam’s cat and mouse hide the weapons / lab games
Reports from Amnesty Int’l claiming Saddam killed TENS OF THOUSANDS of Iraqi citizens and *Kurds.
*Saddam’s poison gas attack on Kurds killed THOUSANDS
German, British, Italian and US Intel facts at the time supported our 2003 military action against Saddam.
And remember the convoys of trucks leaving Iraq heading to Syria just before the decision to go to war?
Clinton and the Senate voted 98-2 for Iraq offense action in 1998.
And as far as WNDS goes, although much was believed to been sent to Syria ahead of the war, two bunkers full of Sarin, Mustard and VX stockpiled warheads were found.
So it would be best to not adopt the hypocritical Democracy Now see-we-dems-told-ya-so false narrative now.
Most people (citizens & politicians) were in favor of the Iraq war in light of the horrific 911 attack.
Those are the facts.

I appreciate you squaring us away on that.
At fist I thought it preposterous, but your post actually made sense. I’m convinced now.
All kidding aside, it would take something that conflicted to justify their claims. It’s just amazing what they come up with moment to moment.
The more absurd, they must think it takes our mind off Hillary.
“You are correct only because of hindsight.”
Yeah that hindsight is a bitch isn’t it! But it doesn’t alter the fact that the whole matter of our involvement in the ME was a fool’s mission. And you know what pisses me off the most is that we did nothing to Saudi Arabia or the Trucial States. They are the real bad actors over there (not that any of them are good). All that said, Boosh and his military advisers did not develop a winning strategy early on and we were left with a war that dragged on and cost us dearly. And then what would we have had at the end of the day had Obama stayed the course? Those people have been at war with one another (and the rest of the world) since the 7th century and the idea of “democratizing” them was a pipe dream. The cynical part of me would like to drop a big-a$$ed nuke on the whole place save Israel. The lot of them are surely not worth the lives we’ve lost there to say nothing of the money. And the doubly sad part of it is we have not fought a war worth fighting since WW!!. Korea, Vietnam, Bosnia, you name it. The only people who have made out are the arms manufacturers because we never win, just like Trump says.
I cannot and will not argue with what you’ve stated.
You are right.
I ask you to please tread lightly on this topic.
There are people here who’ve lost very close loved ones in our ME conflicts, and I hope we can be correspondingly careful to avoid re-injury.
Reading all of the comments, the bad thing about Iraq, is not did we just come across the Jihadis; but it seems obvious that we ended up fighting Iranian forces too, the Quds and General Soleimani. Looks like we needed even a larger security force, larger troop presence. That is hindsight as they say.
If this douchebag’s father wasn’t a big shot politician he’d be selling men’s shirts at T.J. Maxx.
My nephew when he returned from his final tour of duty in Iraq [in which he’d been lightly wounded in the arm and a friend was killed in an incident with an IED] sought to go back...as a sniper. Unfortunately after training for some time to do just that, the old injury returned, got aggravated, and with a now unreliable arm he was forced to give up that goal. He tried other ways to return but was taken out by downsizing, and he’s been a mess since because the Iraqi family that used to bring them lunch had sought assurances over and over from the soldiers that the US was not going to abandon them. At the time he couldn’t imagine the US betraying the war effort and turning yellow, but with Obama’s election they were doomed, and the family has most likely been butchered by the terrorists Obama unleashed, just like the Vietnamese allied with us were when Americans pulled the same cut and run crap in the 70s.
Even if they want to try that, Hillary wholeheartedly accepts those Bush endorsements and they are one of the same.
Chris Cuomo is a mean spirited attack dog.
I’m not a big Bush fan, but look who our alternative was. Algore. He’s an absurdity. The Bushes are globalists. Except Billy. He’s a buffoon.
Cuomo, who’s dumber you or your brother, the Governor.
