Clinton’s unfavorable rating hits new high in poll | Trump targets Democratic states in final sprint

Sixty percent of voters view Hillary Clinton unfavorably, according to a ABC News/Washington Post poll released Monday morning, the highest level of unpopularity yet for the Democratic presidential nominee.

Her Republican opponent Donald Trump is seen unfavorably by essentially as many, 58%. Overall, the race for president is heading down to the wire, with the poll showing Clinton leading Trump among likely voters by just one point, 46% to 45%. The poll was taken Wednesday through Saturday

UN-favorability of Hillary Clinton has now surpassed that for Donald Trump, 60-58%. Part of the poll was conducted this past Friday and Saturday, after the FBI announcement of reopening the probe into her private email server.

Way back in the early weeks of the Republican primary campaign, someone explained to me why Trump would beat Hillary Clinton handily despite his high negative ratings among prospective voters. Here was his explanation:

Why do so many women dislike Trump over his womanizing, yet were fine with Bill Clinton’s antics? Both were Alpha males desired by many women, and have had sex with many women.

The biggest difference? Trump had standards. Clinton did not. Bill wasn’t all that picky over who he slept with. Thus women could fantasize that they could have a chance with Bill. But not with Trump.
