Russ Feingold's bad week just got a little worse.
A a jaw-dropping expose in the Boston Globe , reports that employees of a prominent Democratic law firm in Boston, had been operating a straw donor scheme to benefit various U.S. Senate campaigns since 2010. The law firm, Strouss and Bradley, would have employees give the maximum legal donations to Democratic Senate campaigns and then reimburse them their money as "bonuses."

And here I thought Feingold was one of the few clean dems.... are there ANY?
“And here I thought Feingold was one of the few clean dems.... are there ANY?”
“Clean Dems?” Surely you jest. Feingold is “clean” just like one end of a turd is cleaner than the other!
>>And here I thought Feingold was one of the few clean dems.... are there ANY?<<
Can anyone who supports ripping a baby apart in their mother’s womb be clean?
Did he violate McCain-Feingold? If so, talk about irony.
No. and the party should be banned.
Cronies criminal cronies! Bankers, lawyers, insurance...the party needs to be destroyed it is beyond redemption
I am no Ayotte fan, but with Hassan forced to return so many of these checks and Trump climbing in NH, she is more likely to make it back to the Senate, and the fewer Dem senators the better for enacting the Trump agenda.
THEY ARE DEMOCRATS! LAWS DON’T APPLY TO THEM
EVEN WHEN THEY HELP TO WRITE THEM (McCain-Feingold)
There are no “clean” Dems. They have something on each other. It’s why they stick together like they do.
McCain-Feingold to get the money out of politics! LOFL.
Mr Campaign Finance Reform is a crook. Alert his buddy Juan Mcinsane.
Dinesh De Souza went to jail for doing this inadvertently. He’s lost the right to vote forever. These guys are lawyers and have no excuse.
Hehehe - I wanted to ask the same question....just for the effect if nothing else.....
He is clean by dem standards.
[The law firm, Strouss and Bradley, would have employees give the maximum legal donations to Democratic Senate campaigns and then reimburse them their money as “bonuses.”]
Sounds like RICO with a side of money-laundering to me.......
Yea, but he’s giving that. Only back....so move along
Only=money
Oops sorry
Feingold is a phony
Everyone remember our great conservative Dinesh D’Souza?
In January 2014, D’Souza was indicted on charges of making illegal political contributions to a 2012 United States Senate campaign, a felony under U.S. law. On May 20, 2014, D’Souza pleaded guilty in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York to one charge of using a “straw donor” to make an illegal political campaign donation.
On September 23, D’Souza was sentenced to eight months in a halfway house near his home in San Diego, five years probation, and a $30,000 fine.
Will this story make the evening news.... Feingold fails the test.
