House Dem: FBI will exonerate Clinton again (Beware of Comey's Treachery)
Washington Examiner ^ | 10/28/16 5:18 PM | Joel Gehrke

FBI investigators will exonerate Hillary Clinton for the second time this year, a top House Democrat said in response to news that the agency found new emails "pertinent" to the probe of Clinton's private email server.

"Nothing in today's letter suggests that the FBI or the Department of Justice will reach a different conclusion than the one they reached months ago, when they decided criminal prosecution was unwarranted," Michigan Rep. John Conyers, the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, said Friday.

FBI Director James Comey shocked D.C. with a short letter to several members of Congress that said he was reopening the Clinton email investigation.

"In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation," he wrote. "I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation."

The new emails reportedly were obtained during an investigation of former Rep. Anthony Weiner's sexting scandal; the New York Democrat is the estranged husband of longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

Comey's letter, cryptic as it was, led Republicans to believe that Clinton may be at risk of indictment once again, despite Comey's earlier decision not to recommend that the Justice Department charge Clinton for her "extremely careless" handling of classified information.

"Whatever new evidence has been found should be thoroughly investigated, and I hope that — unlike with the prior investigation — Director Comey will demonstrate the courage to uphold the law and restore the integrity of the FBI," Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said in response to the letter. "Elected officials, no matter how high their position, should be held accountable for criminal conduct. The rule of law matters, and it should apply equally and fairly to us all."

Conyers dismissed such statements as wishful thinking. "Donald Trump and his allies seem to put their faith in the integrity of the FBI only when it serves their political purposes," he said. "I would expect that this investigation will continue to be impartial, and that this additional step — taken only in an abundance of caution — will further clear Secretary Clinton of any wrongdoing."

Scenario: President-elect Trump threatens Obama with 2-4 years of litigation if Obama pardons ANYONE without Rudy’s approval. Next the goofy looking congressman from S.C. RESIGNS from his seat to become the special prosecutor. Will O stand up for his lieutenants? Think of the guards at the Berlin wall who shot at escapees. In 89’ somebody went looking for them. Karma’s a bitch.

Yep this time all Comey has to say is ...well there is one prosecutor who will charge her now, so we will go with that.

The FBI could stonewall but WikiLeaks will keep happening and it will al come out one way or the other.

BTW isn’t Conyers the one whose wife did not get cleared of charges?

Michigan Rep. John Conyers

Now, there's a guy who you can count on to tell the truth.

“This is a totally orchestrated move.”

An orchestrated move to toss her campaign into chaos, on an issue that the media wasn’t even talking about, 10 days before the election, to work a plan to do (insert something) that will be a positive.

Yeah, ok.

At what point will anyone that keeps posting that on this site EVER fill in the BIG PLAN supposedly is because it’s getting annoying listing to a bunch of Dale Gribbles try to talk this down harder than the Dems are or try to pretend like they are Alex Jones looking for the big “psyop” in every box of cornflakes.

I expect Obama to be issuing a tremendous number of pardons before January 20. Maybe even one for himself.

I think “Justice Department” is who convenes a grand jury or indicts...(like thats gonna happen)...looks like he may be handing it over to them...that’s how he can get the FBI out of this, maybe?

Just read something that makes me think you are correct. The investigation into Anthony Weiner that led to the discovery of these emails is being run by the US Attorney's office (DOJ) in New York, which turned the evidence over to the FBI. Therefore, that (non-FBI agency) has seen the evidence and probably has copies of it. Therefore, it may not be possible for Comey to “bury” anything in the long run. I don't trust Comey, but he may not have all that much control about how this particular phase of the investigation plays out.

Whatever the truth is in regards to this action, the logical conclusion is that the FBI was FORCED to reopen the investigation and announce it to Congress. Something is up.

There is no way they would have reopened the case unless there was vital info that will reverse their decision. If what they have is weak, they would have stated that there is not sufficient evidence to reopen this case.

Much like a convicted felon. They will not reopen that case UNLESS there is clear evidence of innocence.

This works both ways.

Yup, the Dems think the emails are already “baked in”. Still a big move on a serious subject.

The investigation itself is an effective poison. Even if she never gets convicted, it’s no different than a conviction and a pardon. The point is that she will not be elected.

“o need for another fix. This is just a huge RED HERRING to get the attention in the media away from Hillary-Obama-DOJ-FBI conspiracy and crimes that WIKILEAKS has already exposed.

Nothing new - right out of the DemocRAT handbook”

They could have had the same results by finding some Tart, paying her off to make claims Trump raped her. Negative Trump 24/7 through the election. Nope, the Clintons are not controlling this issue. But the phones are working, threats and/or deals are being made to get there.

“the FBI was FORCED “

Totally agree. Something MASSIVE must be in the works for this week since the FBI could have otherwise waited a week.

The only thing that has been marching along has been WikiLeaks, so I suspect they are releasing something any day that spells disaster for Comey or Obama.

I posted that article because this one was blocked:

Beware Treachery With This October Surprise

Republicans everywhere are rejoicing that the FBI re-opened its investigation into the Clinton emails. This is a natural and healthy response, but emotions carry us away, and we forget that risks exist and may have intensified.

The American government is obviously not trustworthy, having been run by the Clinton-Obama gang for most of the past twenty-five years. The FBI, to which Clinton donations flowed, is suspected of being compromised.

This leads us to ask: why would it re-open an investigation that could hurt its candidate?

The risk here is that this investigation is a sham. The FBI opens an inquiry, and then two days before the election slams it shut by concluding that there is nothing to investigate.

Result: rally at the polls in the last 48 hours, which is essential for the democrats because their high time preference audience only act when spurred to action by some great fear or chance of upsetting the existing order.

It may be that Director Comey simply played this one coy in order to avoid putting his own head on the chopping block. He followed the Washington order, and then allowed pressure against him to build before discovering “new” information that enabled him to act on that rising public interest.

More likely, however, the FBI is going to do again what it did the first time: bury the story by using the assumption of its integrity as a shield, exonerating Clinton and thus reviving her campaign.

We also know that the press cannot be trusted, and when all of them at once react to something the same way, it is most likely a plot. As we saw with the JournoList scandal, Leftist journalists — which is all but a few of them — conspire behind the scenes through social events.

Beware of treachery. The Leftist is an opium addict, seeing the world through clouds of smoke in which his Utopian dream plays like bad 80s movie flashback. If some of that smoke is from the destruction of others, it just adds richness to the picture.

As a result, Leftists are monomaniacal where Conservatives are heterodox. The Leftist pushes onward toward the ideological goal at all times and does not care about the honesty or consequences of its actions. To them, deception in the service of that goal is noble, not destructive.

Conservatives are on vacation right now. Hurrah, hurray! The great October surprise has arrived that vindicates us, and now we can all go back to sleep, which is the conservative tendency. We get so wrapped up in personal life that we forget the need to curate civilization, culture and morality — to our shame.

But put this on for style: FBI investigates Clinton, then declares a non-issue. Then they investigate again, and two days before the election, do the same exact thing. Then the media, which was play-acting at being in “panic mode,” turns around and blasts out powerful propaganda to wake up the Leftist base and get them to the polls.

More transparent tactics have worked in the past, and this would work brilliantly. The Right will not have time to counter it. Director Comey will go home with his personal career intact, and Hillary will no longer face the threat of criminal charges, paving the way for the Establishment candidate in the White House.

If there is any significant influence by the Left at the FBI, this new investigation will be used to vindicate Hillary Clinton and hurt Donald J. Trump. In turn, that will save the FBI from any future scrutiny. Under that guise, everyone “wins” in the way their personal fortunes increase at the expense of our shared future.

It’s something to think about. by Brett Stevens on October 29, 2016

Now this Brett Stevens guy may be crazy as a loon; Free Republic might have had very good reasons indeed for blocking him. He may also be right. Be on your guard for media tricks involving Comey "exonerating" (i.e. pretending not to notice the felonies and treason of) the Clinton crime family again.
