That is the moment when a moving body or airfoil wing pitches up, essentially lifting on the axis of a moving body, and the plane is soon airborne.

When I was learning to fly, we called that V-sub-r: velocity of rotation. "Rotation" was the moment described here, where lift equaled or exceeded drag/gravity, and the aircraft became airborne.

But that's not the point of the article ...
