But let’s dig a bit deeper. Let’s say that Trump wins. No Hillary is incredibly vulnerable, come Jan. 20 - though she could spill the beans and implicate even Obama. So Obama, one would suppose, would pardon her. Well, not so fast - because a person who has been pardoned CANNOT be prosecuted, and therefore cannot plead the 5th on anything related to that which they were pardoned for...so she’d be forced to spill the beans anyway, on pain of going to jail.
Neat little corner that Obama’s painted into, isn’t it? The only way out is if Trump loses, so there will be no prosecution at all, and the investigation will wither away.
But I think that Comey knows that Trump’s going to win, and he’s trying to get out of obstruction of justice charges himself.
We’ll see...it will NOT be boring for a while.

Yes, Obama knew about Clinton’s private server and indeed received emails from her (via his BB) prior to March 2015 when he lied by saying he didn’t know anything about her private server until March 2015. He didn’t not lie under oath, so can’t be charged charged with that.
But obviously he lied to cover up the fact that he knew and Mills is quoted on Wikileaks as writing that “we need to clean this up”. Steps were taken to erase evidence of him receiving or sending classified information to the home brew server.
It won’t shave 10-15 points off Clinton’s polls, but if it shaves 3-4 points, that will be enough. Trump doesn’t need the blue states and he won’t get them. All he needs is the states Romney carried and a couple of other swing states and he has it.
