I despise Hillary,but to me this reads not like they need to sober her up after drinking too much, but like they need to sober up her thinking about some decision she’s about to make.
If she needed help sobering up at 430 pm, she started hitting the sauce a lot earlier in the day. Who says the three martini lunch is dead? It just migrated from the private to the public sector. Actually explains quite a bit.
Of course there are always exceptions, but I'm betting that she ain't one of 'em.

One might go back and review Nixon’s history during his first year. It was apparent that Nixon would start his cocktail hour around 11 in the morning, and be wasted by 1PM. They had to get important affairs done in the morning because he was worthless in the afternoons. At one point, Nixon called up Cheyenne Mountain and was ordering them to start the nukes. The four-star had to call Kissenger and ask what to do. Kissenger....because the VP was worthless...in essence became the commander-in-chief because of this whole drinking game.
Her drinking is the only thing I like about Clinton. I have had extended lunches where I over-imbibed. That’s a human thing. Now if she does that on a regular basis then that is obviously not so good.
If I was married to Bill Clinton, I’d be hitting the bottle too !
On the other hand, if I was married to Hillary I’d REALLY be hitting the bottle !
