What surprises me is that the administration did not wait until after the election to release the price increase. I thought for sure they would come up with some excuse to delay the announcement. If they are so arrogant and believe that it doesn’t matter they are in for a huge surprise. They are sorely mistaken and have completely underestimated the electorate.
Being contrarian here, but suppose Obama really doesn’t want Hillary to win? He’s campaigning for her outwardly to keep up appearances, but suppose deep down he doesn’t want it?
If Hillary wins, the entire Democratic Party operation passes back into Clinton hands. Obama spent 2007 and 2008 wresting it from their grip.
