The Republican party will hold a major campaign rally --- near the Temple Mount --- next Wednesday, October 26, two weeks before the presidential election, Republicans Overseas Israel has announced.

So Trump and Pence will not actually be there but they will have a video of them making a speech. Looks like Trump is going for more of the Jewish vote.
(The day after Simchas Torah...)
Trump will now get 21%, and not 20%, of the New York Jewish vote.
The Forces and timing involved are far, far above any insignificant “Jewish vote” (which isn’t atomic).
wow
Nice!
Support for Isreal = Christian votes.
Appealing to inner city Latinos and AA’s = suburban white female vote.
wow, thank you Trump/Pence!
good campaigning idea, too, because there are so many qualified American voters that may be reached this way
but anyway it sure is a WONDERFUL CONTAST to the D convention’s Trashing of America AND ISRAEL, and this week’s revelation that the HilLIARy office wanted to keep any mention of Israel out of their campaign in order to appease their big Nazi(Soros) and IslamoNAZI (Arabian Peninsula Moslem dictatorships) “donors” (owners)
THANK YOU TRUMP/Pence for doing something decent
this could sway another 3 or 4 percent of Jewish votes, but much more importantly it could sway another 4 or 5 percent of Christian votes for TRUMP/Pence
good good good
Interesting duality - support for Jerusalem (embassy restoration?) along with MAGA political speeches.
With America long being an allegory for Jerusalem [on a number of levels, even since her beginnings], this reminds me of...
Dan 9.
25. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command [word, speech] to restore and to build Jerusalem until the coming of an anointed prince shall be seven sevens; then for sixty two sevens it shall be built again, with squares and moat, but in a troubled time:
(The day after Simchas Torah...)
Got Torah?
You make an interesting point. The Torah becomes seven books when divided per the inverted nun(s), nun hafukah, Hebrew נו"ן הפוכה .
And the circle (of which there are seven) for the dance with the Torah scrolls is hakafah הקפה(pl. hakafot הקפות)
Hafukah, hakafah/hakafot
Inverted circles, hakafot hafukot
הקפות הפוכות
Don't try saying that seven times fast. Must have taken me that many times just to type it out. :)
Anyway, maybe not any thing, but the similarity in the words attracted my attention because the seven circuits of the Torah would thus be seven sevens - seven circles of seven books.
It's always something...
The first part of the rally will be formal and be devoted to the support for Jerusalem, and the second part will include the political speeches.
>>>In every round of Hakafot the reader, or another member of the congregation, walks at the front of the procession and reads verses of prayer arranged alphabetically along with the congregation. At the end of these verses the congregation erupts in song and dance with the Torah scrolls.
If you'd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

I'm sure you are being facetious, but unfortunately New York is so far gone that it doesn't make a difference. Where the Jewish vote might matter is Florida, Ohio, Nevada, and possibly Pennsylvania.
BTW, I'd expect Trump to do a little better than 21% of the New York Jewish vote, but it still doesn't matter.
Estimates are that 80-90% of that (predominantly Jewish) vote for President from Israel has gone for McCain in '08 and Romney in '12. Trump will probably do even better.
Unfortunately, however, many of these Republican votes will be in hopelessly lost "blue" states, if, for example, the voter is from New York or California.

That was my first thought too. A very interesting duality. I also note religious implications of the word ‘devoted’ in that ‘support of Jerusalem.’
Trump’s signature slogan/acronym - MAGA - is a Hebrew word - contact - what are the chances?
Still digesting the balance of your post. :-)
