I'm Christine, I am a Catholic, and I vote.
I've often seen bumper stickers that say, "I'm Pro Gun and I Vote," "I'm Pro Choice and I Vote," "I'm Dead and I Still Vote (In Philadelphia)."
I'm embarrassed to say that I regarded them with some elitist disdain, confident that I was a better-educated, more open-minded citizen because I couldn't be a one-issue voter. I've come close when that issue is abortion, and I can count on two fingers the pro-choice candidates I've supported in 37 years of voting.
But it was only this past week, when I read the emails that were leaked by Julian Assange, or Vlad of the impeccable pectorals, that flurry of exchanges between John Podesta and other Clinton intimates, that I realized I am a one-issue voter.
And that issue is my faith.
There was such disdain for Catholics in those emails, such pre-packaged vitriol, such high school bathroom mocking that I thought they were parodies of real conversations.
It didn't occur to me that people who were that close to a candidate who has always touted the importance of tolerance would, themselves, be avatars of bigotry.

Doesn't know Marxists very well. There will be no disavowing from the lying harpy. It will be spun so as to blame the victims. SOP.

So, this person would vote for Hillary, the liar, if she lies and “withdraws” the emails?
If so, we can pretty accurately guess their “education”.
Or lack thereof.
She may be better-educated but she’s as dumb as a rock if she thought HC was tolerant.

Time to get educated, Christine Flowers.
I’m not a Catholic. I am a Christian of the Protestant-Evangelical variety. The attacking of anyone who shares my faith that Jesus is the Son of God is not acceptable to me. I have communicated this to my fellow protestants. We may have differences in our CHRISTIAN beliefs, but we must agree that our brethren cannot be eliminated.
To begin with, there is nothing tolerant about Hillary and her progressives.
Or ... what?
Who would consider a pro-forma "disavowal" to be worth anything?
Disavow? Does she really believe Hillary would be sincere?
Christine, Christine, Christine! Listen to any of these...https://www.google.com/#q=snl+ignorant+slut&tbm=vid
If throwing people in jail for declining to participate in homosexual ceremonies didn’t convince everybody the Dumbocraps were not “tolerant,” I don’t know what would.
True.
Who would consider a pro-forma "disavowal" to be worth anything?
This is not the first article posted here, wherein the writer urged Hillary to find a way to extricate herself from this issue. It starts off looking like a condemnation of the obvious bigotry - but when you look close it's really a "You're gonna blow it! Fix this now!" sort of message.
These are people who would prefer to vote for Clinton - if only she'd give them a tiny bit of reassurance. Pretty sickening, frankly. The best we can hope for is that they'll stay home on Election Day.
She will clear this up when her L-dopa holiday is over.
Good points.
I could understand people who wanted to vote for Bernie Sanders ... a cool, hip old-time Lefty. I don’t understand anyone who wants to vote for Hillary Clinton.
