She’d take the sympathy bid, probably, and complain about how harsh these tighty righty Republicans are about not wanting people to be counted equally even if they need medical help.

And she might even have a point. FDR managed an enormously popular and powerful presidency from a wheelchair and only an inner circle knew.

God knows how, and when, to temper a matter with grace. She’s not even in an FDR like position, where with her accommodation she can carry on quite competently in other matters. She’s conked out and require her body double to appear. Would that kind of malarkey be permitted in the presidency itself? I hope not. We are not cruel but we want openness and honesty about what we are going to be kind about.

SECRETARY CLINTON: That’s a really interesting question. You know, I would like to see more successful business people run for office. I really would like to see that because I do think, you know, you don’t have to have 30 billion, but you have a certain level of freedom. And there’s that memorable phrase from a former member of the Senate: You can be maybe rented but never bought. And I think it’s important to have people with those experiences. And especially now, because many of you in this room are on the cutting edge of technology or health care or some other segment of the economy, so you are people who look over the horizon. And coming into public life and bringing that perspective as well as the success and the insulation that success gives you could really help in a lot of our political situations right now.

FDR had polio. What Dr. Noel says about advanced Parkinson’s Disease is that it gradually makes you feel sick. Like the flu, only worse - and in the end stage, all the time. But before the end, too sick to be up to a business meeting.

So you find yourself with a 25th Amendment nightmare scenario: when is the president unfit for office? How do you draw the line? Let me state that more accurately: “When, or will, the powers-that-be announce that President Hillary is to be put out to pasture - or will they simply pretend that nothing to see here,' and carry on the government as if she were still competent and in charge.”

You know, like any other third-world tin pot dictatorship.
