GOP Legally Barred From Fighting Voter Fraud (2012 article, still relevant)
WND ^ | 11/20/2012 | Bob Unruh

Voting machines suspiciously defaulting to Barack Obama? Buses loaded with strangers appearing at polling stations? Even ballots turning out 100 percent for one candidate in precinct reports?

In short, suspicions of vote fraud?

That’s too bad, because a race-based consent decree negotiated by Democrats against the Republican National Committee a generation ago still has tied the RNC’s hands, and GOP officials could be cited for contempt – or worse – if they try to make sure American elections are clean.

The consent decree from 1982 is still in force. It limits the RNC, but not the DNC. Just something to think about.

GOP doesn’t seem to be too concerned about it. So I guess everything is fine, right?

Are the state party organizations bound by the national party organization?

Are third party organizations bound by this? If not, then why can’t Trump be the “conservative party” nominee as well and have that entity file the lawsuits?

Is there any precedent for a politician to utterly flout the law (even the Constitution?). To say, in effect, “I don’t care what the laws are, I’m going down this road, don’t try to stop me?”

Anybody aware of anyone ever doing that?

Good questions. I took a look at a summary of the consent degree itself, and the only state mentioned is New Jersey. There is no mention of any minor parties.

It is well past time to violate the decree and challenge its validity. Otherwise the last resort, firearms will become necessary.

Exactly. If this is truly stopping action, that’s the course.

And the judge responsible for that decree comes out of retirement each year to renew it.
AND the SCOTUS upheld it when it was challenged recently, IIRC.

I see it says "unless the RNC obtains the court’s approval in advance."

So theoretically the GOP could go to court and present lists of dead voters, illegal aliens voting and other evidence to have the decree nullified. They could have John Fund testify as an expert witness.

Obama, though he didn't say it out loud, has done just that with his non-enforcement orders to the INS and Border patrol.

It limits the GOP. It would NOT limit President Trump’s ability to use the FBI to aggressively go after vote fraud, nor would it limit a Republican governor’s law enforcement ability.

Another good reason to blow up the GOP and replace it with something else. Then, when there is no GOP, the consent decree is moot.

Republicans “settled” and did not challenge because it suited them. They no longer have to respond to demands to do something about vote fraud.

Usually something as blatantly wrong as the RNC giving the DNC something so important as control over the integrity of elections would be due to a trade for something the RNC, the Party really wanted, thus negotiated for. Whatever they got for giving up their oversight of the election process must have been extremely important.

Whatever it was means nothing to us today, therefore it’s time for renegotiating that one.

The DNC takes the inner city vote, adds a few thousand here or there, wins each swing state and the GOP coffers overflow with donations from clueless supporters hoping again for a win. 2008 and 2012 proved this is the winning formula. It is forbidden to discuss this history and future in GOP land since it could wreck the lucrative gravy train.

The GOP is a business, not a political party and win or lose the consultants, politicians and lobbyists make out like Jesse James.

Democrats are shameless and everyone knows it. Republicans lie to the voters promising a change and deliver a sham election every 4 years. The GOP is guilty of not standing for anything save graft and corruption. The GOP elite have sold out to the moslem international caliphate whether they admit it or not.

Russia is running civil defense drills Oct 4 - Oct 7. The biggest tragedy is that those who die in the coming nuclear devastation won't have a clue its coming. Russia is acting on the assumption that they are the last christian nation and we are post christian and are funding the global moslem takeover - arming IsIs, killing christians in syria.

Thanks.

We had numerous threads on this, from back then. I tried searching, and couldn’t find them.

there is nothing holding a superpac back.

the DNC and RNC are members of the same country club and the USA is not invited nor wanted.

This decree alone is good reason to DISBAND the RNC and start a new organization, to bypass it completely.
