When considering the Trump tax issue and why some anonymous leaker sent Trump's old tax returns to the NY Times, consider/recall this old story.Trump is wily when it comes to media manipulation. He seems to relish it in fact.
Not suggesting that Trump is behind the leak of his tax returns...only suggesting that before thinking that there is a leaker on the Trump staff...consider this.

When he comes out with a Non-PC statement...the Dims and MSM are all over it....giving Trump days or a week of free advertising.
He then hits them with Fist No 2...the Truth....and demolishes them.

Yes, not only did Trump write the best seller, Art of the Deal. After he ran into trouble he wrote Art of the Comeback.
So we need to give him credit for leveraging his downside to produce a bigger upside.
Trump makes me grin ear to ear the way he manipulates the media. No one understands how to do that as well as he, and the proof is the masterful way he’s avoided spending a fortune on his campaign.
This cunning is one his greatest virtues. Can you imagine how he’ll negotiate with our trading partners and get stuff passed through Congress?

It is always a little unnerving when he pulls one of these media punks...but if he wins in November, I will quit worrying.
