That's exactly right.....has nothing to do with Arab Springs and all that propaganda they spew throughout the media. Just like installing Morsi Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt as they did, they seek to do likewise throughout the ME because they falsely believe they can control the Brotherhood. I so hate this entire administration for it's cruelty, deception and death, torture and blood shed of so many that could have been prevented. How many times were their agreements between the parties EXCEPT for Kerry, Obama and Hillary......they wanted Assad out no matter what. ...so it continued time and again.

The proposed pipeline would traverse Aleppo where Turkey’s Erdogan has been lobbying for a no-fly zone backed by US military power and American tax dollars.

If the media was honest, the public would be aware of her role in creating the mess in Syria. But considering how well they protected Obama from any damage for Benghazi, which was fairly easy to understand, it is unlikely anyone can inform the public between now and the election about her role in the Syrian mess.
Not sure Trump will be able to create any good solution if he wins.

You are so right. Commentators keep complaining that Obama’s Syrian policy is “ambiguous” or ill-defined or doesn’t exist. There is nothing ambiguous about it. The administration just tries to cover it up with obfuscations about “fighting ISIS” or “humanitarian concerns” or “encouraging democracy” because they know their real objectives won’t fly politically.
Bottom line is if a national leader doesn't go along with the Globalists Plan these beasts will and do go after them via their own people...and using any means they can hide behind to accomplish their objective in regime changes. It's all about that and re-distributing populations (human capital) removing young military age men from conflict nations...thus going in after the resources once the conflicts are managable.......Assad said no deal.

Yep.....they want Assad dead.
However given the mindset and cultural beliefs in the Muslim world, how they settle issues and that among the various tribal differences.....I'm not convinced a “strong arm” isn't necessary to keep the factions from constant conflicts among themselves....as we so often see in Afghanistan and throughout the ME..... I've listened to Assads interviews as he spoke from the beginning of this conflict and as it escalated to outright war through to today. I don't see the man as the tyrant he's made out to be considering the nation he has governed. Rather he understands the nature and the tribal issues among the people.....and to bring the nation into the modern world is a slow and grinding process.
But as in all ME nations today the Caliphate drive and religious prophecies, many believe in, come into play and Syria is the "key" nation they know is necessary to bring those prophecies about. At the same time we have the Nato expansion and Globalists desire for World Governance which requires co-operative leaders to that end from those in the ME. Equally as much the Sunni/Shiite divide operating in the fray among the people on who will ultimately rule their world...and both have World Domination in mind.. Assad has refused to go along with Globalists ideas of their utopia world.....but in the end it will be a war for world dominance in that part of the world.....
