Oh, the erstwhile margabby kelly-gifford travelin' puppet show is on the road again. Former ass-tro-naught and naval officer, disgrace to both professions. Carl may be off just a tad here. The push is "gun 'safety' legislation" and of course the horrible "background check loophole". Only two steps removed from the "gun show loophole". Of course, those of us that have at least a minor clue know this is all a load of manure. But, there are a "hole" lot of folks out there that buy this manure by the truckload. Why? Well it sounds reasonable right? Uh, not if you're equipped with reasoning thoughts. Getting rid of the 2nd Amendment won't happen but the infringements will be stringent enough to make the guaranteed right moot.

I hope Trump renames the USS Gabby Giffords when he becomes President.

We have real heroes that ships should honor with their names.

Gabby Giffords, along with her husband, retired NASA astronaut Mark Kelly, have launched the “Vocal Majority Tour 2016”: a 14-state, 40-day national bus tour aimed at stopping the “gun-violence crisis” in America...

There is no gun violence crisis in America. Gun Violence in America has been decreasing for years despite a simultaneous increase in the number of guns in America.

What we have is a drug problem and a gang problem in our large cities but we can talk about that because it wouldn't be PC.

***“common-sense gun reform,” which is code for incremental gun confiscation,***

Here is a piece from 1976 when the TOP Anti-Gun lobbyist accidentally spilled his guts on what gun control HE really wants!

Nelson T. ‘Pete’ Shields
Founder of Handgun Control, Inc.

“I’m convinced that we have to have federal legislation to build on. We’re going to have to take one step at a time, and the first step is necessarily — given the political realities — going to be very modest.

Of course, it’s true that politicians will then go home and say, ‘This is a great law. The problem is solved.’ And it’s also true that such statements will tend to defuse the gun-control issue for a time.

So then we’ll have to strengthen that law, and then again to strengthen that law, and maybe again and again.

Right now, though, we’d be satisfied not with half a loaf but with a slice. Our ultimate goal — total control of handguns in the United States — is going to take time.

My estimate is from seven to ten years. The problem is to slow down the increasing number of handguns sold in this country. The second problem is to get them all registered.

And the final problem is to make the possession of all handguns and all handgun ammunition — except for the military, policemen, licensed security guards, licensed sporting clubs, and licensed gun collectors — TOTALLY ILLEGAL.”

-Pete Shields, Chairman and founder, Handgun Control Inc., “A Reporter At Large: Handguns,” The New Yorker, July 26, 1976, 57-58

“Yes, I’m for an outright ban [on handguns].”

-Pete Shields, Chairman emeritus, Handgun Control, Inc., 60 Minutes interview

For those who may still doubt, back in the 1980s HCI decided to go after semi-auto military style rifles along with handguns.

African Slaves came from Muslim African countries who sold them to many other countries - Brazil, USA, etc.

If African slaves had guns they could have stopped their family members and Muslim government officials from selling them!

Never trust a married couple that do not share the same last name. Nor a person who doesn’t like cats and dogs.

FANG & I must have our guns! We live in the sticks on the
river where FANG has killed MANY poisonous snakes and also
squirrels eating up his pears off his pear trees!! He has
lost count of the SNAKES he has killed, some with hoes & a
few with his shotgun (as BIDEN recommended to HIS wife)!

We have to live in reality.
