If a felon can vote then a felon should
also be able to be a candidate. And, depending
on the size of the local population the jail population
may produce a large voting block that might effect
local elections. Oh boy.

I couldn’t help returning to this thread...like a dog to its vomit.

Just wow. I feel like I’m getting a look at a large, black version of Richard Simmons. Sex indeterminate (for both).

Startling.

I think it would be funny if all those felons actually voted for Trump and it put him into a position of winning the state.
It would serve those cheaters right for trying to game the system which is why they are doing this regardless of the reason Shirley is stating.

Incarcerated felons in Maine and Vermont have had that all along. They vote absentee from their prison cells.

What the HELL is wrong with that guy?

I think states should set their rules, but if they get this out of line, there should be some protection against it.

Everyone of these guys will vote for someone who is soft on crime.

Society really benefits.

Between illegal aliens and felons, California is going to run out of ballots before November.

Good to know murderers, thugs, thieves and kiddie pervs have the right to vote.

Cause the truly depraved among us ought to have civil rights restored to them that they took away from their victims.

Makes sense to liberals.
