As a California resident I am sorry to inform you folks in North Carolina that you will not be visited by our mostly overpaid, under worked, milk cow state employees.

Present company excepted.... but Good Riddance.

People who are against this bill think that they're punishing us by not coming here, but the general consensus in NC is, "Fine, we didn't want you here anyway."

I think that's the biggest reason why NC pols have shown a hint of spine on the matter. For a change.

North Carolina should just pass a law that says no state funded travel to any state, locality, business or professional events that discriminate against the great state of North Carolina.

Zell Miller did that in the 1990’s in Georgia (moves against the state flag) and the boycotts quickly faded. The professional organizations, tourist industry and academics (conventions) in the other states helped killed the boycott. Today we just cave in to pressure,Miller was the last great Democrat in Georgia.

California state buildings have gender specific restrooms. California state universities have gender specific sports teams and locker facilities. They also have gender specific degree programs such as women’s studies.

Until they end women specific sports and make women and men and transgenders all compete on the same level, then this is hypocrisy of the first order.

California state employees should not be allowed to travel to California until these archaic laws are overturned!!

This is called economic sanctions. Jerry Brown has in fact declared war on North Carolina. This is another way Democrats continue to divide the United States through hatred and bigotry.

“As a California resident I am sorry to inform you folks in North Carolina that you will not be visited by our mostly overpaid, under worked, milk cow state employees.”

What reason could a California state employee have for traveling to NC on official business?

And soon there arises in the former United States of America the “Internal Travel Pass”. Citizens will have to show their Travel Passes before passing through border checkpoints as a highway enters a neighboring state.
Airport waits will increase as air travelers will stand in line to show their Internal Travel Passport before boarding a plane.
Within states, Zip Code restrictions will be introduced, allowing PROGRESSIVE cities to prevent inudations of undesireables from cluttering up their streets.
Internal Travel Passports will be color-coded to identify the holder as to political affiliation, religion, and LGBT status.

So how are California bathrooms laws in public and private businesses different?

The last time I checked there were men and women’s rooms only.

"North Carolina’s controversial law overturning local government protections for gays and lesbians intending to keep sickos and perverts out of the ladies room could cost it some business with California state agencies."

Had to correct the tolerant and open minded first paragraph.

Good. But why would a state employee be in NC on State business except sporting events? Liberals are such drama queens.

Hey, I wish kalifornia would forbid those people from moving to free states, too. I live in a free state, but those people move here and are dumb, dumb. And they want to force their stupidity on everybody else.

Hey, if their kalifornia way of doing things is so great, why did they feel compelled to leave?

This is no different than setting up border checkpoints to control interstate commerce. It interferes with federal policy for freedom of movement and commerce. There is no reason any state thus targeted could not issue a reciprocal cut off of commerce and travel to CA.

Maybe one or two state funded visitors a year, with relatives in NC?

NCers by boycotting trips to Californicator land can inflict a lot more $ pain than our whinney overpaid rats visiting NC on our Tax $’s.

Good - the state can’t afford the travel expenses anyway.

I want to know if Brown uses a ladies room in the Capitol. Of course, his office no doubt has a private bathroom but that could be taken out easily enough. Tee Hee! Are state employees allowed or mandated to use whichever bathroom they feel like using on any particular day? How sweet!

This is just another version of WHO’S ON FIRST?

It’s getting harder by the day to get rid of our overpaid, under worked, milk cow state employees so few states will allow them enter.
