"If I were Donald Trump I wouldn't participate in another debate unless I was promised that the journalist would act like a journalist and not an incorrect, ignorant fact checker," Giuliani told reporters late Monday inside the spin room at Hofstra University.
"The moderator would have to promise that there would be a moderator and not a fact checker and in two particular cases an enormously ignorant, completely misinformed fact checker," Giuliani said.

In fact, no GOP candidate should agree to any debate EVER where the moderator can do anything other than keep time and, maybe, ask the SAME series of PRE-APPROVED questions to EACH candidate with no follow-up.
I'm sure the DNC and their media superpac would still try to engage in shenanigans but at least that would be closer to fair than what we have now.
And if anyone complains, point out that Lincoln-Douglas didn't need a moderator.
Drudge article says Trump got 6 follow-up questions from Lester and Clinton got no follow-ups...
I agree....absolutely.
Team Trump should have a fundraiser for NOT participating in the debate. If we can raise $XX,XXX,XXX then he won’t do it. And Trump can match it. ?
The debate committee that sets these circuses up is chaired by Bill Clinton's former chief of staff.
Trump should remind people that he takes this crap from liberals and plays in unfair venues because he has promised to fight for us.
Or is Sean Hannity.
So much for “Republican” Lester Holt. As we all knew before the debate, he’s just a typical partisan RAT hack. Trump whipped them both.
Best advice EVER!
Someone send this to Trump's people, STAT.
Guiliani is 100% correct!
I disagree. One of the best parts of the debate for Trump was Lester Holt clearly taking Hillary’s side throughout the debate. One of Trump’s main themes is that the system is rigged against normal people and against people outside the system. By taking sides against Trump the outsider, Holt proved Trump’s main point, and he did it without doing any harm to Trump among swing voters.
Trump should go back for more. He just needs to be ready to refute any future “fact checking” from the leftist moderators.
Guliani should spend his time hammering Clinton on the corruption issue. He is a former US Attorney. He should be asking on every venue possible just how when Clinton by her own admission was “dead broke” in 2001, after ten years of “public service” she came to be worth $31 million not counting Bill’s money. What did she make or produce? More to the point what did she sell? The phony Clinton foundation was nothing more than a money laundering operation to collect her bribes masqueraded as “speaking fees”. Guliani would do Trump and the American people a great service. Clinton is simply not fit to be their President. If she had been a Republican, the MSM would be tripping over one another doing investigative pieces on this fiasco. Their bias and acquiescence is disgraceful.
Lester was Hillary’s obedient lawn boy last night....doing what he was told, right or wrong.
According to Drudge the jerk also interrupted Trump 41 times compared to 7 with Hillary.
You need to look at it from the viewpoint of the low information voter, not the politically engaged Freeper.
If anybody's still undecided about whether to vote, they may want to see the two candidates face off head to head and if one backs out it will be seen as cowardly -- as conceding the election.
Rudy, if you're so smart, wouldn't you be up on that stage as nominee?
Lester Holt — Clinton House Boy.
Ten bucks says that she thinks that at an earlier time Lester would have been fetching coffee for her.
He should and let the loss of ratings drive the networks nuts. Screw them all. All media needs to be scorned.
Holt saw Lauer get denutted....so he wussed out
