You raise an interesting point I had not considered. Now as I am thinking about it though I am not convinced the MSM and Hillary will not revisit those issues. There is no rule that says they can't. Trump would probably get into defensive posture for umpteen minutes all over again. He's hard-coded that way.

Agreed, they could, but they won't. Trump would legitimately not need to answer, and more importantly, it would then look more like an ambush, rather than the legitimate question it was last night. And that would greatly benefit Trump.

Trump was fine with debating both Les & Ill... he just finished debating up to a dozen other Republicans at one time this spring. The jokes on the liberals

Mr. Trump thinks the debates are important and that he has an obligation to participate in them.

A little snowflake girl I know was lamenting on Facebook about whatever is going to happen cuz it looks like Trump’s going to win. First thing I saw this morning when I checked it. Brought a little smile.

"Something to remember, once an issue is broached in a debate, it will not be brought up again - a candidate can/will simply say 'hey we covered this already, lets not waste time'.

How about Trump comes back with, "Hillary, at this point what difference does it make?"

Every debate already looks like an ambush because of the bias. Since when are they worried about that? I don't see them backing off anything that works or benefits them. And sadly I think Trump would fall for the bait ... again. :-)

He should do debates with her, but bring up the important issues if the leftist moderators won’t.

It’s typical of dems when asked a question for them to filibuster on something else if they don’t like the question.

Trump should do the same thing.

He also should do some events with someone like Ingraham, Coulter or me as the questioner.

He could do it with OAN or something similar.

I think that is the org that streams all of his rallies.

‘Ask Donald Trump’ - a live 90 minute show where Mr. Trump takes questions directly from viewers via Twitter - on Fox and FNC any ad revenue goes to veterans’ charities (I know he’s already done something like this before)

Why do we even need a moderator? Why can’t the candidates have 3 minutes each to bring up or ask whatever they want of each other?

The moderator could be a clock with a green/yellow/red light on it. 60 minutes should be all it takes to know the winner.

Let the public watch and decide on their own without a partisan hack trying to slip in their own two bit opinions.

I LOVE this idea. Let him respond directly to the people. Trump has broken all the rules, so this would be nothing new for him. No way is he getting a fair shake in any future debate with any mod.

Trump should have raised that issue about her speeches for Wall street.
Saying that wen this Holt asked about a birther issue, asked about his tax records, and then said he was for the war was disgusting.
We have far more important issues at hand like the economy, terrorism, immigration, ISSI, middle east, , then what about her server in the basement, emails, deleting them, lying about it, Benghazi, foundation. The VA/

Asking about the birth and tax records when this has already been asked so many times and been answered so many times was pathetic.
These questions were taken from the Clinton talking points, and I am sure last I checked that a moderator is supposed to ask the question to both candidates, not what just applies to one from the other candidates talking points.

I agree.

Also, I think Trump had to play nice guy somewhat in this debate, because I think if he had played rough, Hillary would have played victim and refused future debates against a “sexist bully pig”.

Trump was restrained, and you could see his mind going and churning... he was itching to go for the hay-maker.

Next debate will be a little hotter for her, but not so much because:

I bet he unloads all guns on her in the last debate, leaving no doubt of her corruption, how they sold America down the toilet for their own gain, Clinton Foundation, selling arms to ISIS, watered down AIDS drugs, etc. I think the last debate is going to be such a broadsides attack she will be sunk on the spot.

After the last debate, the media will not have weeks to attempt to repair the damage done to her. It is best to save his big guns for his last televised encounter with the beast.

Tucker Carlson,l Laura Ingraham would be good moderators, hell can’t be worse then the idiot Holt who damaged his reputation last night.

. . .and my vote for a mod for this type of format would be Harris Faulkner from FOX. She is professional and no nonsense.

You’re not calling Harris Faulkner a clock are you? Totally agree with you she’s an intelligent class act.

"If I were Donald Trump I wouldn't participate in another debate unless I was promised that a journalist would act like a journalist and not an incorrect, ignorant fact checker," Rudy Giuliani said after Monday's debate between Trump and Hillary Clinton.

The headline doesn't reflect what Rudy said. He didn't rule out participating in another debate. He attached conditions is all.

Trump was circling his prey this time out, sizing it up and employing psyops multiple times - that last comment he made at the end was for her to take home and think about.
