I once found a site where “journalist” would post comments about their business. It was fun until I got banned for making to many snide comments.
However, my point is, they (at least the ones posting) are a very unhappy bunch. It turns out that being a “journalist” is nothing like it is in the movies. Long boring hours, low pay, awful hours and mean stupid bosses. For this they went into debt so deep they will never pay it off (especially at the wages they earn as a entry level “journalist”. It must suck to have a degree in a field that is dying and which the average person dislikes more than a use car salesman.
A serious question: can multimillion dollar contracts for media people be economically justified any more? Sooner or later the Soros and Clinton fortunes will no longer be able to subsidize them. They can’t possibly generate the advertising revenue to support their lucrative paychecks.
While I agree with the sentiments, he ignores the fact that the new media is as saturated with lefties as the old media.
Media coverage is all about influencing the stupid people - the ones who don’t read a paper or watch the news on TV. They most assuredly don’t read any opinion pieces. They are malleable because they have no understanding of the fundamentals of economics or self government.
