Should have put in a leashed plus size toddler harness and dragged him/her out for walkies to a nearby hydrant.

Those coloring books for adults (and pen and colored pencil sets) are all over Barnes and Noble stores. I would rather take up needlepoint or knitting as a creative outlet. At least then you could end up with something useful.
