Attendees of the recent Tri-State Parade in Amarillo, Texas are crying racism over a float depicting President Obama and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in a cage.
“A lot of people in the black and Hispanic community are saying, ‘Why would you put a black man in a cage?’ That just sends the wrong message,” Amarillo resident Rodney Darnes told KXXV. “The fact that Hillary was in the float only sets the women’s movement further back.”
The float, sponsored by a group that call themselves the Stars and Bars, was made of wood pallets and metal bars fashioned into a makeshift cage, with a man wearing an Obama mask and woman wearing a Hillary mask trapped inside. A man wearing a Make America Great Again banner as a cape rode on the trailer tongue behind a truck streaming American flags, pictures submitted to the news station show.
The Confederate Riders of America escorted the float through the parade.
Images of the creative display were posted online, where several folks claimed the float was racist, despite the fact that it was pre-approved by a parade marshal, KXXV reports.

People are put in cages because they are suspected of or are guilty of criminal acts. Common sense?
OK, put him in a monkey suit.
But they can make movies fantasizing about assassinating Republican presidents and you better not complain.
Try them both for war crimes and atrocities they encouraged, nurtured and supported in Libya, Iraq and Syria. Make them own their jihadist policies. Like Nuremberg, but with better evidence and precedent.
I would suspect that these folks who put the float together are voting for Trump. LOL.
What a wonderful free speech exercise. I commend them for their ingenuity and creativity!! I think it is extremely funny . Some folks are holding on the the old, long gone, PC days . Those days are history . We are now saying it like it is. No longer do you tell us what to say. If you try that ,we am deeply offended.
Just tell simple Rodney therey’re in the cage as protection against the teeming hoardes of racist, sexist, homophobe, islamophobe, etc that Hillary keeps telling us the US is full of.
Flimsiest looking jail cell I ever saw. A white person in black face as Obama and a white woman in whiter face as Hillary. The woman looked like she’d rather not be seen.
The ones crying “racist” dutifully cropped the Hillary person out of the photo which ruins the context of the message.
I think it was just poorly done. If I didn’t know the attempt was to show the two of them behind bars, I would not have guessed it.

And they use the word RACISM to mean any word or deed that they find disagreeable or offensive.

No it does not. The message it sends is that a President that has acted ouitside the law and above the law and distorted the law and damaged the Country belongs in prison. You may not agree with that message but it does not make it wrong.
