I grew up in New England and if a Democrat is struggling there it means they’re struggling everywhere else in the country.

An influx of Somalis is a BIG issue in Maine.
I bet Trump ends up doing way better than this.

Maine is one of the poorest states in the union

Which is why an influx of "refugees" from one of the poorest nations on Earth is NOT going over well there.

That big sucking sound RPerot talked about has decimated the manufacturing industry in the state. Very hardworking people have lost their means of making a living, and now see freebies handed out to ‘newcomers’ when they are struggling to keep food on the table. Add things like the recent events in NY/NJ/MN, and people are having a change of attitude about which end of the ‘great society’ they are ending up on.

RE: “An influx of Somalis is a BIG issue in Maine.”

Which reminds me of the high regard of the Dark continent, that some Maine down easters have, when asked by a tourist from Boston:
Boston lady - “Where do the natives like to eat?”
Maine guy - “How the hell would I know? Do you see anyone here with a bone in their nose?”

(Psst, Jeh J, and Obola - relax it’s all in good fun ;n)

RCP just put Nevada into Trump’s column in its “no toss ups” category.....that puts her down to 287.

Chipping away....

(They already have Trump winning ME CD 2).

BTW....won’t we know Maine early in the evening? (Or do they take a long time to count?).

Surely if Trump takes ALL of Maine, and we know early, that’s a good sign, right?

10.5% “undecided” :) <<<

My unscientific research here in eastern Maine says 8.5% of those aren't undecided...they are "undeclared" Trump supporters...

Now, North Carolina is gone from the hilary “no toss ups” column.

So on the RCP no toss ups map, she is down to 272.

Also noteworthy....she’s only up 1.5 (average) in BOTH NJ and CT.....this could get good!
