The 49ers lost because they are no longer a team. They have let a pretentious idiot steal the limelight with his meaningless protest against the national anthem and steal the focus of what the football team should be. Good luck with the rest of your season but unless someone within the organization stands up and states what the team stands for the will continue to loose.

Too many others from different teams have followed.

What nonsense.

Colin needed someone to blame when he realized he sucked. He blamed whites.

Often overlooked in all of this is the lack of teamwork angle in all of this. It is major.

Yesterday South Carolina State came to Clemson. Half of their staff took a knee during the national anthem. Mercifully for them it wasn’t seen on TV and only those who were at the game saw it. SC St. lost 59-0

Most SC residents are surprised to discover that there’s a SC State.

“. . . but unless someone within the organization stands up and states what the team stands for the will continue to loose.”

That will require leadership and Chip Kelly can’t provide that - not at the NFL level. Kelly can’t coach at the NFL level.

I was there. SC State players were not on the field. Coaches came out just to have their take a knee protest. But as if 59-0 wasn’t bad enough Clemson scored when they kicked off after a score and SC State player caught it in the end zone and didn’t take a knee. He caught it and just tossed it to the refs without kneeling. Ref let it drop,Clemson dove on it,touchdown. Irony is so ironic to quote one of the Airplane movies.

To be fair to the 49ers, although I really don’t want to be fair to them, a lot of teams would have lost to Carolina today. But the head scratcher today was Seattle, losing at the Rams and only scoring 3 points. I know road games are tough, but this was stunning!

Yes, bring back the DeBartolo’s and Carmine Policy. They would not tolerate Caperdick for a New York Minute. And neither would Bill Walsh!
