Why does there have to be a “deal” in order to leave?
If you leave, you’re not part of the organization any more. This requires a “deal” ?
It’s an e-x-i-t, they don’t care what you think anymore.

.
How can they veto Brexit if the Brits want to go?
Yes, they can refuse to negotiate mutually beneficial trade terms, but if the EU tries to shove their immigration policies down the UK’s throat, it will unify the Brits in favor of leaving.
Lets pray for a:
Eurexit!
“their citizens rights to live and work in Britain”
State of denial.
So that’s how they’ve rebranded it: “free movement”.
Who can be against free movement? What, are you a totalitarian against free movement?
It certainly seems plausible that countries within Europe will go to war to stop this nonsense.
“Four central European countries are prepared to veto any Brexit deal agreed between the UK and the European Union that restricts their citizens rights to live and work in Britain, the prime minister of Slovakia has said.”
Just goes to show how deeply the tentacles of the new world order have sunk into Britain. The British should tell the EU to go to hell.
LOL! Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Start your own damn union.

No, it doesn't require a deal for Britain to leave. However, having invested billions of pounds in Europe over the last four decades, Britain would like to exit with as much as possible to show for that investment. So it's not just leaving - it's trying to leave with the most advantageous terms possible.
Some other countries are trying to limit what Britain gets out of the EU from leaving. In some cases, this is simply because they are also trying to do what is in their best interest - and that's fair enough - but in others there's also some attitude that Britain should be punished for leaving.
The headlines can give the wrong impression - there doesn't need to be a deal for Britain to leave. But Britain wants the best deal it can get and why shouldn't it?
The EU Socialists intend to, or have created laws to prohibit the UK being able to trade with, or negotiate independently with other European nations under the umbrella of the EU. Naturally they are stacking the deck by disallowing the UK to leave the EU until they sign on the bottom line for their own demise. An effort to force them to remain.
Brittian can just leave the table and say, “see ya”.
Sovereignty is what being your own country is, if anyone could just come in and live legally at their will that undoes a country completely.
Figures it’d be those eastern Europe crapholes. Basically the Mexicans of Europe.
May want to take a better look where those four stand on being overrun. They like securing the borders.
If Trump gets in he can handle the EU.
Trump - “Lay off the UK or we will limit trade with the EU and give the UK the finest trade deals possible...and another thing..cough up the money we have wasted protecting your worthless asses all these many years”
The UK wants free trade with Europe. If they can't get that, pretty much every company in the UK will move elsewhere. This requires a deal. The EU doesn't have a whole lot of incentive to make a deal - particularly if they can't keep free movement of people.
If i understand correctly, the deal is optional under the treaty. Once the prime minister officially triggers the process, they are out automatically in 2 years. An agreement is needed only to exit sooner than that.
No incentive? The UK is Germany’s biggest trading partner.
No it isn't. I'm sure Europe would like free trade w Britain - don't get me wrong - but they're definitely holding a much stronger hand in the deal.Source
